You’re seriously having a laugh or you have a good dealer. A guy who has a proven track record in England and with us years of experience is a much bigger risk than a guy who has managed 14 games that’s not true and most can see except you.

our recruitment department is much better than it was when he was here last he will work with them on targets with them.

He makes players better with his coaching and all that so not sure on your point other pure hated for him we all move on.

I was looking at this from a company point of view, if you are about to do something that might not be seen as a good thing by your customers/ supporters then how do you spin the positive. In this case it’s pushing out a lot of names and seeing the reaction. Releasing that you have interviewed names that kind of make the supporters nervous so when you unveil the real name there is a bit of relief in our case if Rodgers is the main man then pushing Maresca and Others out makes us feel Rodgers is the best of a bad lot and even though we have bad feeling towards him after his last stint we are happy to accept him back as the lesser evil.

The other way is the opposite Rodgers getting pushed hard as the front runner with a lot of negative noise coming from the supporters makes it easier to produce a Maresca as we don’t want Rodgers and he’s the best of what’s out there willing to come.

and if he doesn’t work out they turn round and say we’ll we could of had BR but the fans were against it and we listened to them.

I don’t want Rodger’s back. Boring tippy tappy football. It shows the lack of broad thinking from the board if he’s back as manager.Time for a different manager with fresh ideas.

Rodgers is not the biggest risk we could appoint. Come back to reality please @LectersLuncheon.

Yeah, the serial winner who delivered treble after treble, led Leicester to two 5th place finishes, an FA Cup, Community Shield, took them to a European semi final, and sparked Guardiola and Maresca 5-2, is a bigger risk than a guy sacked by Parma after 14 games.

Just suck it up. You, and many others, fell for Lawwell’s post-Rodgers propaganda. You’re allowed to change your mind.

Rodgers is the best option out of the names that have been spoken to.

For a man that won 7/7 and probably 9/9 if he had stayed I didn’t realise how * a manager he was. He’s a good option let’s be honest and has the ones over the city bricking it already at the thought of him coming back. Not my first choice but still a very decent one. With him we win the league next season with a Iraola/Faraoli we might not win Anthony but could be better in the long run.

I no wish Durty Leeds would hurry up and appoint whoever it is they are going to sack by October…

Every name we seem linked with is also supposedly on their radar. You can be certain that as long as there’s any EPL vacancies going… every available manager will string us along as they hedge their bets a’la’ Howe.

We can seriously do without that fiasco again.

Easy to convince Desmond to lend him his plane when Desmond wants Rodgers. Clever to arrange a meeting with another manager whilst there though.

I'm hoping that the new manager will be in place before the end of the week.

Well, one one hand you have a manager who has come within an inch of winning the Premier League, has won an FA Cup with a lesser team, took them into Europe and got to a semi final of the Conference League. The same manager has also won multiple trophies with us, every domestic competition he entered in fact, and would have won more had he stayed and seen the season out.

On the other hand, you have a manager who has had one managerial appointment and failed in Serie B.

What’s your big rationale as to why Rodgers is more of a risk than Maresca?

The revisionism on here regarding Rodgers is nothing short of laughable. As I’ve said already, given the opinions of a lot on here, I’m amazed we weren’t all celebrating when he left. I could have swore we were all gutted.

I think a lot of people who were scorned by Rodgers are letting it blur their judgment on his managerial abilities …. Dembele I like the guy but anything g he has to say about Rodgers I’ll take with a pinch of salt
Fell out with good few managers at Lyon and effed them over in regards to running his contract down

Has Rodgers style evolved at all? haven't paid much attention to Leicester in recent times.

Face of it this appointment is safe as houses for continued success in the league & soon as results come in he'll be forgiven by the majority.

In the background these rookie managers like Maresca can head off & prove themselves elsewhere then maybe down the line.
