    Only had 10 games at his first job before the club he was previously assistant at, Alanyaspor, took him for the top job.

    Finished 5th this season.

    I would much rather Farioli over Rodgers and Maresca. Can't tell you how much I don't want Rodgers back, I'd be * gutted. First season aside, his football bored me to tears. Ange's was so much more entertaining.

    With that said we were poor at playing out from the back under Ange. It's something we need major work on if we are to progress in Europe, and it sounds like Farioli's speciality.

    I voted no in the Rodgers return poll but on the plus side you've got to think if he does return he's been given assurances regards a decent budget to make a dent in Europe and autonomy over transfers as these seem to have been two of the biggest factors in him bailing out previously.

    Can't see it being Farioli. I'd rather him than a punt on Maresca though.

    If we are taking a younger, inexperienced option it would be Iraola no1 then Farioli.

    For some reason the latter does fill me with more confidence but I'm maybe just expecting him to be De Zerbi 2.0

    If this supposed massive budget is really happening then I genuinely canny think of a quicker way to waste it than giving it to Rodgers to spend on transfers.

    I thought Rodgers would've ruled himself out straight away, the fact that there has been contact would suggest there is something in this, i think if he want's it he get's it.

    I can imagine someone like Rodgers wanting to change his image surrounding how he left Celtic and his achievements here by coming back, winning some titles then resigning before going back to the PL.

    Not because he’s a good guy or a Celtic fan, purely because he cares about his reputation and is egotistical.

    By getting Rodgers back we can kiss goodbye to fast paced football and good signings for the foreseeable. He'll absolutely wreck the squad, given half the chance.

    Rodgers purchased some absolute quality players for Liverpool; Sturridge, Coutinho, Firmino, Milner etc etc. The common thread with him and * signings was Congerton and he should be nowhere near this club.

    It’s not as simple as saying he doesn’t have an eye for a player or wastes money IMO.
