    We qualified for the Europa League via the Champions League groups. Something Ange failed to do.

    Well let's not make stuff up. Rodgers got out of 1 champions league group where he finished in 3rd place. He came last in the other champions league group which was his first crack at it

    It was in relation to someone claiming the football would be ‘chronic’ under Rodgers.

    Which is hilarious, given he outperformed Ange in every metric.

    Also, he didn’t even drop into the Europa League twice. We finished bottom of the group with City, Barcelona and Mönchengladbach. It’s only the group against Anderlecht that we did, when we finished with a whopping 3 points.

    So not only was it laughable, but wrong as well.

    I'd feel a lot more confident about holding onto the likes of Kyogo, Jota, Hatate, Oriley etc for another year if we hire Rodgers.

    Like him or not he has a higher profile in the game than Postecoglou to date and is a coach that players want to work with.

    I feel we need that sort of immediate appointment to stem any potential player exodus.

    I think they'd also enjoy working with him.

    McGregor still speaks highly of Rodgers, saying he took standards in training to another level and that the players enjoyed it.
