Who could we replace Ange with?

End of June? That's too long imo.

If they're waiting that long they better give us a good manager. Not Maresca or some other *. We need a new manager in ASAP to prepare for the new season and sort the transfer business (ins and outs; there will be be many).

It has all gone * up since Lawwell Sr came back into the fold. You just know they're under-prepared as *. Ange must've blindsided them, but it doesn't really excuse them hiring a Maresca or someone else equally uninspiring after weeks of waiting.

Which I completely agree on all of this.
I do want fresh and modern approach. But agree we are fickle as * and wouldn't give much time to a maresca appointment if it was a bad start.

Next manager needs experience for sure.

Which, for me, out of the names so far, Iraola is the one to tick as many boxes as possible. Along with Knutsen.

I'd be happy with either of those two, of all the names so far.

Thought Gallardo couldn't speak English? I've also seen him linked with huge jobs (PSG, Barcelona, etc) so would be surprised if we could attract him.

 

Iraola would be as good an appointment as we could make. If we are waiting til the end of the month it could suggest he's our man.

 

We all want Iraola or Knutsen. Someone who is exciting but proven.
