    * me we'd be as well appointing Kennedy full time than give it to Maresca. Disgraceful that we're not going for a more experienced coach given we're going to be in the CL, have a settled team and have money bursting out our ears for the transfer market. Desmond can GTF!!!

    Regardless who the manager is, the board have to back their choice.

    If it's to be Maresca, then so be it - but he better be given ample resources to raid this City Group link fruitfully.

    He'd just be quite an underwhelming appointment. Deila esque but even then he had 9 years first team experience.

    It reeks of the board trying to be too alternative/clever at a time when it's really not needed. A lot of the players will be reeling after Ange leaving I suspect and I feel we need someone more experienced to come in, steady things and continue building.

    Don't understand all this reported Pep interest in this appointment.

    Something's a bit off with all this.

    Why the * would Guardiola be so invested in his mate getting this job?
    If what's being reported is to be believed, then it goes way beyond professional courtesy.

    Are City planning to make us a feeder team? Are they looking to send their kids here to develop? Is Pep secretly banging him and wants him out before he gets caught?

    All very weird imo.

    Honestly hope all the in the knows are wrong and Maresca is not being appointed next week.

    Literally need a experienced manager so we kick in and we are going * backwards with this sort of appointment.
