Ange is guaranteed to be managing in premier league where the players might move to premier league but not guaranteed to play where as they are guaranteed to play in cl this year bar any injuries of course so it always more a gamble for the players … unless they are money orientated of course

Why would we take 10/12 million for Jota?

Makes absolutely no sense at all? He 24 had an amazing two seasons with us scored in both the Europe league and champions league shows up in big games and is class.

Spurs can afford a lot more than 15/20 million.

Because that's the kind of money we're likely to offered due to peoples perception of our league.

We got £20m for Dembele, £25m for Tierney, £18m for Eddy, £17m for Ajer.... could easily demand more for Jota and Kyogo.

Hes got another 4 years on his contract. 4 years. You think we'd accept that? Hahaha he's a £20m until his last year. Simple.

I think some people really need to start grasping the level Tottenham operate at, if they’re genuinely panicking at the likes of Jota and Kyogo being poached by Ange.

A striker/winger who cost them £50m and scored three goals in four games for Brazil at the World Cup can’t get into their team.

As much as I rate Jota, Tottenham ain’t touching him. They can afford to let him go to a lower EPL side and then buy him from them if he flourishes.

Not anymore it’s not. We got 25 million for KT. We will get them
    Sort of fees again.

Jota is in his bracket right now. We can easily get the same and more.

Richarlison Is over rated massively, when Everton got 50 million for him even their fans where buzzing about it.

He’s been * * for Spurs this season and only scored 1 goal. He’s been poor and that’s the reason he’s not been playing.

I think people are forgetting the kind of guy Ange is.

He's not gonna give a * what people think of him signing a Kyogo or a Jota as he knows them and will be confident int heir ability to play at a higher level, as many of us are too tbh.

He's obviously been given assurances over transfers and with a bit of a shake up happening at Spurs they may look to operate differently moving forward.

Just because they operate in a different market doesn't mean he won't come for our best players. He's obsessed with Kyogo ffs.

Historically a top 6 epl team just took our manger the rep of the league is not as bad as some make out if your in the top two here and play regular European football then their will be a good fee remember being at Celtic you need to win week in week out and the pressures that come with that

I'd hate to see Jota go but would accept a big offer for him if it came in.

I just want the next manager to be bringing in everyone they think they need. We can go to the next level next season.

My numbers may be slightly out, but the fact remains that Spurs can attract and afford players from bigger leagues than ours.

So can they all. * Wolves were buying Athletico Madrids striker in January.

They all look for players in smaller leagues who won't cost a bomb though. You only shop in the big leagues if you feel you have to.

Totally agree. We hopefully will not be selling Jota this summer but if we do it should not be for anything less then 25-30m.

Some crackers in there. Again, am noticing young Matt at the heart of a lot of the action.

    For further context,

They paid 5 milion to loan a Right back 23, from sporting, paid 15 milion for a 21 year old right back from Middlesbrough, 12 milion for a Swansea CB from the championship, 30 milion for Bergjwin, 27 milion for Sessegnon from the championship.

That's all just in recent years. It's not a reason we should under value our players. The Scottish market has improved. As others have mentioned all our recent high fees, plus the 2 the huns received in Patterson and Bassey. We paid 7 for Jota, were not selling him for less than double that after 2 standout seasons.

Jota is a 15 to 20 million pound player, hopefully he stays around for a few more years as this guy has a huge future ahead of him.
