It’s mad how much we have used the City Group over the years and the close connection we have with them.

Just throwing this out there, would you be for or against if they were to buy Celtic?

What do you think it would mean for us? Feeder team for loans to come and play or would we be able to conduct our business freely to an extent?

Same. The more I see and read about Iraola the more I’m thinking he should be our target.

Would be happy with it if it evolved to be better than the teams that are above us in coefficients

Aw * I'm going to miss Ange's interviews. Iraola does seem a brilliant fit though. Again, Him, Knutsen or Potter and the clothes don't come on for a full season.

Me too. But I've always had reservations about Potter's character.

Iraola will be desperate to further prove himself as a coach, Potter might feel he's doing us a favour by coming here. I'm all in on Iraola now but worry that Desmond and the board will look over him.

Is farioli a genuine option is meant to be highly rated. I done some research plays similar to De Zerbi done decent in Turkey took his team to 4th is a young manager a bit of experience could we go down that route

I'd be really interested to see how he'd do. Don't think we'll lump for him but he's the kind of manager we should be looking at for sure.

Iraola is a very interesting proposition, he plays an excellent brand of football which is a definite box ticker. When Leeds got rid of Marsch, he was on their shortlist along with Knutsen and Ange :56:

He was DeZerbi’s right hand man at 2 separate clubs.

Bit too young for me but a highly impressive individual by all accounts.

Agrees with that my worry with potter would also be would he shrink with the size of the job but could be said for any manager

Celtic will not press the panic button by rushing into appointing Ange’s Postecoglou’s replacement.

The Parkhead club have been rocked internally by Postecoglou’s decision to quit the club and sign a four year deal with Spurs. And the Aussie’s sudden departure has piled fan pressure on owner Dermot Desmond to recruit a new manager well ahead of the new season. But Record Sport understands the club’s top brass will not be spooked into moving too quickly as they sift through the credentials of their leading candidates. That means Postecoglou’s successor is unlikely to be decided upon, far less anointed, in the coming days.

In fact , the recruitment process is more likely to run for weeks rather than days. It’s understood bookies’ favourite Brendan Rodgers is also taking time to consider whether or not to throw his hat into the ring. As Record Sport revealed on Tuesday, Rodgers would first have to be convinced that the time is right for him to make a sensational return to his old club - having previously advised friends and family he intended to take a year out of the game following his sacking from Leicester.

While Rodgers ponders on his own next step, Celtic’s hierarchy have been putting together a raft of post-Postecoglou contingency plans. The likes of former Chelsea boss Graham Potter and Pep Gaurdiola’s right hand man at Manchester City, Enzo Maresca, are also among the early front runners with Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna emerging as a left field candidate –as revealed by Record Sport yesterday.

But Desmond wants to personally assess all the available options before selecting his own preferred candidate. And that means Celtic’s supporters look set to be kept waiting before discovering the identity of their next boss

Iraola wanting the job? Please :48:

That is someone the whole support would welcome and get behind..

Was reading some articles on him the other day. Posted one on here. Loved the way he spoke and thought about the game tactically..

Watched his side dismantle Barca this season and in other highlights. Fast, attacking, aggressive football..

Not a bad thing, no qualifiers to worry about and it means we'll be doing our due diligence on multiple candidates.

If Iraola has applied for the job however, I feel like you have to give it to him, wants to be here and is a fantastic manager to boot.
