Who could we replace Ange with?

Think he’s lost it now, plus his birds a bit of a * as well.

 

I am hoping West Ham win this, only reason is cause Moyes will be kept on. If he's sacked we are going to get the passive, boring *.

 

The man's an utter throbber who * players, burns bridges and leaves behind a wreckage wherever he goes. Cant spot a player to save his life either. His playing style is quickly becoming outdated too. I think his career is already on a downward trajectory, and if we avoid him I'll be delighted.

 

If it’s a choice between him and Maresca it’s a no brainer though. It simply would have to be Rodgers.

 

This sums up our support you’d rather have some no name over a guy who won us 7 trophies out of 7 has lots of EPL experience and experience of the pressures of managing us.

I just don’t get that some people want someone with no experience over someone who is a very good coach and who at least we know has the winning pedigree.

Maresca is too big a risk to take at this stage when we’re in the champions league and will have a challenge next season pressure managing us is not like much these guys would of experienced previously and could well crumble. It’s a safe and sensible appointment if it’s him.

would prefer iraola or Knutsen if not those 2 then Rodgers is as good an option as anyone on that list

For me, anti-football is patiently recycling possession when the opposition defense shows a shred of organization. I'd take a caveman solution to a low block defense any day of the week. Long shots, crosses- anything but a "patient" pass back. Moyes is definitely not the worst of the mentioned candidates.

 

Thought the whole hating Rodgers thing went out of fashion when Lawwell * ten-in-a-row.

How anyone can still blame him for walking - when he wanted players like the now Belgian first choice RB and Villa captain but got Tolijan and Mulumbu - is beyond me.

The guy looked exhausted throughout his third season, and who can blame him?

 

Not my first choice but not bothered if it is Rodgers, If Spurs approached Ange mid season the outcome would've been the same.

 

Rodgers would only be remotely interested because he has nothing better just now.
We can surely come up with something a bit more imaginative that a former manager who is currently unemployed.

 

If we want to stand any chance of keeping a lot of this team together I think we need a name like Rodgers. I was disappointed when he left in the manner he did, but we bring in Maresca or someone similar, I don't think certain players will be hanging around, and won't attract the same calibre of player. Need to think logically.

Edit - should also add I don't see him rejoining anyway.

I would take Rodgers (more so after seeing who else we were linked with). So in what way does it "sum up our support"?
