:56: A Celtic manager thumping the huns by one of their ex players would be amuzing..

Flip side.. him getting beaten by the huns would lead to absolute meltdown by some :56:

Kieran McKenna would be an interesting appointment.

Wikipedia says he played gaelic football as a kid. Get him in :fear:

Not having managed outside Norway before is a risk. I'd still jump at.tye chance to get him in though, ideally with Kennedy as assistant if Knutsen wanted him.

The job he has done at Bodo is mind blowing. Just read this:

McKenna and Muscat play an attacking style ..either would be good. Anyone but Jesse Marsch …he’s rubbish

While I can't deny he had a good season, League 1 to CL and being heavily judged on winning the league is a massive jump. I'd say Carrick, who was at United at the same time would be a more inspired choice. Middlesborough smashed in 84 goals, 2nd highest in the league.

Bit too quiet today for my liking

Hope we aren't waiting on the CL final to be over to appoint Maresca:90:

Is McKenna adaptable for Europe? Big step up from managing a EFL 1 side to Celtic. May be too much of a risk for me.

I'd hope we are looking at Carrick.

Yeah I like the sound of him, he's one that will probably be way out of reach in a few seasons so getting him in now could be a smart bit of business.

However I'd still take Knutsen, Iraola or Potter over him just now. But if it comes down to McKenna, Rodgers and Maresca I would take the punt on him.

Sounds like an exciting prospect (though maybe too soon for him to take on a club or our size) and a world away from Ange approach to man management. Which to me wouldn't be a bad thing. I was always very sceptical of Ange old school keeping players at arms length and not having conversations with them approach. Times have changed, with social media especially players are under a different kind of pressure than they were even 15-20 years ago. What happened with Tam has never sat right with me

A manager should care about their players welfare and their mental health. Happy players make better footballers.

If we are looking to the English lower divisions then hope Carrick and Corberan are also being considered.

    I´ve said it elsewhere, and I say it again;

Being Swedish, I´ve followed Larsson´s career from start to finish, including his managerial stints.
He´s a lovely and much appreciated guy, as well as a living legend.

But he´s never a manager, which is a shame.
He´s in a long line of distinguished players not having what it takes to be a successful manager.

    Larsson. * . Not a manager

I was liking what I was reading about mckenna though.
Dare I say it kinda MON vibes but youthful, fast attacking football..
End of the day anyone is going to be a punt. This guy seems enthusiastic and has learned from a few top top managers
