We want to compete in the UCL where we will be massive underdogs every game and we are looking at a coach whose head coach experience is coaching a dominant side in EFL 1, nah. He's one to watch for the future but shouldn't be anywhere near a discussion for the current vacancy.

Ajax are a massive club quite a bit bigger than us if I’m being honest, 4 European cups and a uefa cup and cup winners cup as well. They also play in a far bigger league and when in Europe regularly compete in the latter stages of competitions, not to mention they have far much more money than us.

Are you joking? Not a chance in * our wages are anything close to theirs, this is the team that spunked around 20m on that clown bassey, their spending is levels above us.

Their revenue far eclipses ours that's before you even take into account the money they regularly make from player sales.

The fact they're not in the UCL this coming season doesn't matter much as its only a matter of time before they're back.

It's a hugely attractive job where if you do well, can jump straight to pretty much any club in world football.

If we are talking about fans I don’t believe they have a larger fan base they are pretty huge though in terms of history I can believe their wage bill is higher simple fact due to constant turnover of player trading longer than Celtic a larger tv deal and qualifying more times than Celtic for cl and generally getting further in Europe

Really not seeing the reason for the hype in Knutsen, as much as others. Seems a much bigger risk compared to the other names we're linked with, never managed outside his home country either

Is the size of a club just about fan base but? I don’t look at clubs like that, i look at the history of the club, winning major trophies etc. Even when it comes to fans though, Ajax must be quite up there, they attract 55,000 fans most weeks and have quite a bit of support in Israel as well.

I’m not entirely sure who I want to take over next but I know who I don’t want!

I hope we don’t hire any former celts unless they’ve actually done something (can’t think of any deserving yet) and I hope we don’t go back for a former manager like Rodgers, we’ve been there and he’s had his time.

Looking at whose available and been suggested, I’d be happy for Knutsen, Iraola, Gallardo, Michel, Potter, McKenna. Probably a few others, would love Kompany but don’t think we’d have any chance and would maybe try for carrick but probably the same.

Not keen on Maresca, Marsch, definitely don’t want Moyes. I just hope the board don’t go backwards with the next appointment.

We won’t get anyone better than Rodger’s, think it’s clear but he doesn’t want to come back sadly. When you see our options now, there’s only one man for me.

Rodgers would be a backward step in my opinion. Football was drab in his final season, maybe even last 2. He will still deploy the same type of football with same tactics, don't see him learning anything from his LC time to move him forward as a coach. Plus he's a lying rat *. Need someone similar to our last manager but with a plan b/c etc and some defensive capabilties. Would love someone that's competed in Europe regularly and knows how to set a team up to win matches in those comps.

Maresca seems to be the only name leaked by us to the media which is worrying. I'm convinced we are appointing him after Saturday
