None of that is relevant to club size.

Anyone slating Ange for leaving now needs a reality check. I'm as devastated as everyone, but the opportunity for him is too good to turn down. A club who would be regarded as a top 6 club in the wealthiest league in the world, recent champions league finalists, the first oz to manage in the epl, and a project to work on.

He probably would never have expected to get an opportunity like this so early after joining Celtic, just like he didn't expect us to hit the ground running as early as we did when he came in.

Also, what other top 6 job would he get in the epl? Would you have been happier if he'd left for some * mid-table team with no clout after another season?

The only relationship would be fan level, Desmond and Lawwell probably want no more relationship with Ange considering he basically agreed in principal behind their back.

People aren't slating him for leaving they are slating the manner in which he left which they are entitled to do.

Why is it hard for people to understand that you can have affection for a club you joined, quote one of our legends when it is valid and appropriate to do so but still want to leave to further your career.
I don't see any issues with what Ange has done or said, hindsight is a wonderful thing but I think he has meant everything he has said

Aye, fair enough, not everyone is slating him for leaving now. But at the same time, who knows what goes on behind the scenes. Maybe it was relatively out of the blue, maybe its been a possibility for weeks. Comments like he will never be welcomed back are just ridiculous.

I think it's the toughest top 6 job he could have got, I don't particularly like them, but personally, I hope he goes and smashes it at spurs and I'd welcome him back any day in any capacity

He could have admitted contact with Tottenham after the cup final, or told the board earlier. Still left at the end of the season as opposed to what Rodgers did, so a lesser offense. I understand how those who are angry about it feel. He now has to deal with Levy and other * down south, when he could've had a second crack at the CL. Oh, well.

He was right to not mention it and try and focus on the treble win. Its also not an offense to change clubs any time never mind at the end if a season

Five million for guy on one year was an amazing bit of business even more so if it’s extra 2 million for backroom staff might have wanted to keep ange but I think we were more than compensated in fact I’d say the board relationship with levy and Tottenham is higher than it’s ever been 1 m for hart and 6.5 m even though they wanted 10m at first would prove that our dealing with Tottenham have been beneficial as has Man City
