Who could we replace Ange with?

Not weird so a guy with 6 months managerial experience which failed is better qualified than a guy who has managed hundreds of games in PL and won us 2 trebles etc.

it’s common sense if people are happy to settle for that then upto them but I want the best person for the job ideally Knutsen if not him then at least someone who better than peps no2 it’s about winning and getting a manager that’s going to win with us and more chance of that which a few others rather than Maresca.

Might be on board if he brings KBD or Haaland

 

He's apparently applied for the job, watch some of his teams football on Youtube. Looks pretty good to be honest.

No one has a clue how good or bad some of these names will be. If Maresca was that pish then he wouldn't have us, Leicester and Southampton wanting him after going back to City under Pep..

We obviously rate him and people inside our club that would and should know, do as well..

Aye mate. For me there’s just some things (in regards to football) that should mean you’re never in contention for the job here. Again I know I’m probably in the minority with that but him and Rodgers shouldn’t even be considered.

They also signed that Edozie and Larios but they took a good few background staff as well. Joe Shields was the big one, he was the guy who was responsible for City’s academy recruitment and seen as the best youth scout in football. He dumped them after a couple of months to go work Chelsea though

Similar to us I feel where they’re acting as basically an unofficial CFG club.

I can see why Maresca would be name we’d throw into the mix and keep tabs on but with the position we’re in it’d be a bit of a worry if he was the first choice.

Aye. He could be utter class but at this point where we are.....we should be easily able to aquire a Knutsen, Potter, Iraola or coaches in that kinda category who've done a fair bit already..

We've got loads going for us. It doesn't need to be a risky type appointment..

 

I actually wanted Maresca before we appointed Ange. Don’t know why but i’ve kind of went off the idea, Not sure if thats because of his stint at Parma which would be unfair to judge him on.

Only one that is exciting me at the moment is Knutsen but i’ve wanted him since he schooled us in the Conference League
