Who could we replace Ange with?

I like how we're all pretty much acknowledging that Peter Lawwell will have a bigger sway in choosing the new manager than Michael Nicholson, the sitting CEO.

I heard on Off the Ball at the weekend Paul John Dykes also said he thinks Lawwell is back running the club.

 

Really hope it's not Rodgers, can't be * with him

 

May as well just get Lenny back instead ffs.

Maresca didn't excite me 2 years ago. 2 years later after a failed stint in the Italian 2nd division he excites me even less

 

City I would imagine. We have an excellent relationship with them and the City Group as a whole.

Out of all the realistic names being discussed, it goes like this for me...

Maresca
Marsch

I think Maresca could be a very interesting prospect but it's a very very lazy appointment, in my opinion and I think Ange has built something. Knutsen comes in and the players are instantly going to go, this guy knows his stuff given he schooled the team a year ago.

 

Would give my left nut for Knutsen …

Need to keep the faith the now pal. Look at how far we have come since Ange came in. I'm no Lawwall fan but the club, the fans, the board and the team have had an unbelievable atmosphere and the positivity the club has created NEEDS to be carried on.

This appointment is huge though.

Knutsen and I think every fan rallies round and looks to a very bright future.

Rodgers and I think while large sections of the fanbase will be unhappy, we can all accept that he's a top * coach who brings instant success.

Maresca, I think fans will struggle with it and see it for what it is. A city link, with a failed attempt into management but with the possibility to go onto great things in the game.

The board need to be smart here. Knutsen is the man for everyone. Even if he's not every single fans *Number One choice*, most fans realise that he's been pretty unbelievable in Norway. Anyone who attempts to compare him and Ronny are ignorant. Completely different.

 

Push the boat out for Knutsen please Celtic.

PL will have * all to do with next manager, time for Nicholson and Lawwell jr to earn their money.

Would love Knutsen or Potter, although both would be quite unlikely. Don't know much about Maresca but would get behind him I guess. Could accept Rodgers if he comes without Congerton. Don't want Marsch, don't want anyone like Moyes. Maybe it will be someone we've never heard of.
