The fact he has friends on the inside high up at Spurs is almost certainly the reason Spurs went for him, his agent and his pal have been working on Levy to get Ange in and most likely have been for months.

 

Kyogo is absolutely worth 30 milion, if Chris Wood was a 20 million player then 30 is a steal for getting him.

I took that as he's had to explain why he's not going to discuss this kind of stuff while he's still got work to do as Celtic manager, which is true. Even if he had been in touch with Spurs, if he'd said yeah I'm talking with them and possibly leaving, just as many folk would have been throwing a fit for being disrespectful or not giving the final it's due attention.

I'm over it. I'd have preferred he stayed as we play good football under him, but I'd never heard of him before he arrived. Focused on the future and who we bring in.

It was announced yesterday he agreed the contract, how has he not made his mind up? It'll be official in a few hours.

He definitely handled his departure poorly, which was quite out of character as he usually does everything right.

When the dust settles he will be remembered fondly. Unlike Brendan I think there's room for him to come home if EPL doesn't work out for him, although judging from his CV it doesn't look like he makes return visits
