He's my choice. Would be * wild.

    But won't happen.

I think we need to be as ambitious as possible though. Enzo Maresca would be lazy and a risk at a time when we have a lot of money to play with for our level and a strong starting XI. Need to make a statement, if we can.

You think we could persuade Hutter?

He wouldve been on a * of a wage at Monchengladbach. I imagine he has his sights set on a mid table EPL team, he's certainly been linked a few times.

As far as Seoane goes, apparently he's actually off to Hutters last club, and tbh, his record at Leverkusen was shocking. His record at YB was excellent, but after a decent first season they fell off an absolute cliff.

Gallardo, for me, too much of a gamble. 8 years at River, no English and apparently "pushed" for the Spurs job, and is now is the running for jobs in Spain and Italy. I think as well as a gamble, he's out of our reach.

Just off the back of a world record 8th Treble.

    Guaranteed Champions League football.

Financially stronger than we've been in many years.

To appoint a guy who's only ever been a manager for FOUR months would be absolutely crazy and lazy from our board.

Not doubting Maresca's potential. But he surely cannot be the next Celtic manager.

Ange was a huge risk, but he had 25 years in management before coming to us.

“One extra defensive midfielder isn’t going to solve our problem.” In other words, it wouldn’t have mattered.

I clocked you a while ago. You were posting after our Champions League games, had a post or two after the St. Mirren defeat, and are now posting when Ange is leaving. Calling Ange the fat Aussie. Downplaying out domestic success over the last two seasons. Need to try a wee bit harder pal.

We’re obviously a good draw for a manager the now !

    We have champions league football
    Chance to win more trophies
    Financially good
    Good young squad

another thing that I think makes us an attractive draw now is we have now had two managers get a move to good premiership teams (Leicester where a top 6 when Rodger’s went ), previously the premiership would turn there nose up at our managers

Enzo Maresca will be great for continuity as it will keep the papa francesco chant going . All about the 5 syllables.

Maresca would be the lazy and cheap appointment.

I don't like the idea of Maresca at all. His only job at Parma he won 4 games out of 14 in Serie B when they're supposed to be challenging for the title, lasted 6 months. Some just suit being an assistant.

That would be some statement! While he’s been beaten out by AP for the job, it might now make us more attractive.

He is my choice if we couldn’t get Gallardo.

This, Ange had a track record of success as the number 1. Picking a number 2 is fraught with danger.

Carlos Corberan is someone who I think could do very well in Europe. He’s good at setting up teams defensively, but I’m not convinced his style will be right for us in the league.

I understand people's reservations, but I'd be intrigued to see how Maresca does here - I certainly wouldn't be writing him off.

You don't become assistant to Pep and have him say you'll be an exceptional manager if you're not doing something right. Arteta struggled at first when he struck out on his own too, and Italian football can be a riot, who knows what things were like behind the scenes at Parma. What Maresca would bring is fresh progressive ideas and a continuity in terms of our football. Of all those listed, he's certainly one that interests me.

Yeah you can, he’s throwing hundreds of millions down a drain with no plan whatsoever. Including actually bringing Potter in, in the first place.

Taking managerial appointment tips off of that fat * that does carpool karaoke, my *.

In no way was Seoane’s record at Leverkusen shocking. His first season he got them their best league finish in 7 years. His second season he was given 8 matches before he was sacked. 1 win and 2 draws out of those eight games.

Not even close to a shocking record.

can kind of see your point but we need someone with experience who has at least won something. I’m hardly inspired walking in and Maresca is my gaffer. Don’t care if pep called him the messiah it would be a massive risk and one I don’t want us taking right now.

We need to kick on and I’m not so sure we do that with Maresca in charge. Go and get the best most qualified person for the job

Good read that. Kind of think that teams were slowly beginning to read Ange's style too. (Although in fairness that could also be to the fact that the players probably knew he was offski and they had also won the league so it naturally dropped off)
