I rarely post on here but will read whenever I can.
I commented yesterday because I was livid.

I don't know mate... If kyogo bulked up a little, then him playing his drifting game just behind Kane could actually work out well... Lots of if, buts and maybes around the move though... Elite strikers going to England cost you about £100M these days... Getting kyogo for about £20M leaves room for another cracker in besides him

The fact we got edouard for 9 m sold for 15 bought kyogo at 4.5 million if we sell at 30 m I have no qualms I’m quietly confident we can replace him

At this point anyone still believing Ange hasn't had his agents trying to get him into the EPL for months are kidding themselves on. He kept the fans and board strung along incase it didn't matteralise so he would have us as a back up option. Hedging his bets in other words. As preferred Spurs candidates saw sense ans ran a mile from Levy that facade became harder to maintain. Fair play to him, put himself first as many of us would but don't tell fans we can't feel let down with how he has gone about it and the lies he spun the past few weeks.

The uncertainty and speculation completey overshadowed the cup final and treble and must have been a * for the players. You can say that fessing up would have too and I agree but to a much lesser extent. As the saying goes "it's the not knowing that gets you" good or bad if you know you can process, prepare yourself and deal with it. Being left hanging in limbo is * on all fronts.

I got "if he's gone he's gone bring on the next one" vibes from Cal in that post match presser. Done with it and done with Ange. Been there before, knows the script and his and big Joe's experience is going to be invaluable over the summer preseason especially if Ange clears out our backroom. Lots of young lads in the squad probably not had a manager hit and run on them before, definitely not one who sold them a vision for the future like Ange.

Levy doesn’t care what the * think, he’ll get Kyogo if that what he wants. We better lock in an Ange premium. £30m is minimum. Board have an opportunity here, they know Ange Will desperately want Kyogo, so make sure we get a record sale.

The way I see it is:

    * He could have gone to Brighton early in the season, but didn't because he knows we're a massive club and he wanted to achieve success here
    * He could have gone to Everton midway through the season, but didn't because he knows we're a massive club and he wanted to achieve success here
    * He could have gone to Leeds midway through the season, but didn't because he knows we're a massive club and he wanted to achieve success here

And those are just the ones that there were strong links to (not to mention Villa and Leicester too)

And he stayed throughout and didn't give any indication (to us at least) that his head was turned.

That he then got picked up by one of the most powerful clubs in current world football after great success with Celtic was most likely an extremely difficult decision for him, unlike the other jobs that he turned down. I can see that would be a tough situation.

Well, far worse players have gone for that kind of money in England.

https://www.football365.com/news/li...oss remained coy,to talk about other things.”

And Furuhashi ia ‘already on Spurs’ wishlist as a partner, cover or even eventual replacement for club talisman Harry Kane’ and the appointment of Postecoglou would ‘vastly increase their chances of landing the Japanese ace’.

It is understood that ‘other clubs in England’ are also taking a keen interest in the striker with Tottenham ‘prepared to pay around £25-30million to make him a major capture’.

He lifted it almost directly from this story two days ago.
