Who could we replace Ange with?

Could be anything really from the return of the rat to as you say a surprise name we don't know much about. Hopefully the club has been working behind the scenes on this for a few weeks now as from that day when Desmond showed up at Lennoxtown we have had to know that Ange was likely going to leave at the end of the season very soon after that day.

 

Certainly the Everton result was a bad day for them but inconsistent no I would not say so. They finished in a european spot which they were not in when Potter left so overall considering its Brighton and who they are up against he for sure took them forward both from a results and style stand point from where they were under Potter.

 

I'd take Potter in a heartbeat but I can't help but feel we should be looking for a "younger" Ange or De Zerbi.

Don't want a dour faced * that plays boring football. We need someone who will make the players believe they belong in the CL, who will be fearless and play their football. Basically another Ange but who is more pragmatic and defensively astute.

Ange's kick and rush helter skelter football was never feasible for Europe. If we had been more clever we would have qualified from both our EL and CL groups under Ange.

There was one that sticks out where he said he was a respectful man so he'd be respectful to them and their stupid questions and kinda went on a daft rant.

Now it's fair enough the press do ask stupid questions but it came across as a guy who was struggling with the constant attention he was under. He also made a rod for his own back, and was essentially on a hiding to nothing with them after that.

Fair enough.. my mates a massive fan, not so much the club but the way they play, always raving about them and that includes when Potter was in charge.

 

Losing John Kennedy IMHO is not good at all. It makes our next appointment even more crucial in the sense that we have to get the right backroom staff right as well as the manager.

 

No idea where you get the idea that they’ve “obviously known for weeks.” They haven’t and so to suggest it’s shown is nonsense.

 

Plus they came within a PK shoot out of making what would have been only their second ever FA Cup Final as well.

One of the biggest ITK on the other site said he's 100% not in the running.. who knows but I'd be shocked if it is him considering how he left last time

Agreed I think he is a good manager who would be an interesting appointment if he came to Celtic. Not sure how I would feel about it personally.
