I would take Rodgers no problem. Think it guarantees success. However with the fans so divided it would be a shame to loose this feel good collective environment we have at the moment

Sometimes you need to go back to move forward, he would be my top pick out of the names mentioned so hopefully we at least have talks

 

I think the biggest lesson we need to take away from this is that we need to embed a proper structure so that whenever a manager goes we aren't starting from scratch again. Things like getting our transfers done promptly and working one window ahead, having all teams playing the same style through the age groups. These have all come in under Ange and I don't want to see us going back on these.

With a Director of football set up we can have far less disruption when a manager leaves and instead of rebuilding we will have seamless transitions.

Ange has left and everyone is up in arms because it isn't just a manager we lose but the club and the whole way it operates seems to change from one manager to another. Now we are * the bed about what will come next.

 

Just wait until Moyes leaves West Ham and those rumours start getting louder…

It's deflating and upsetting (annoying and other stronger words too) but it's also an exciting time.
Just off the back of a treble with a talented squad on mostly secure contracts and plenty assets and healthy finances with CL to look forward to. Shame it's not gonna be Ange to oversee it but we were probably needing to refresh the squad a bit anyway so lets hope we go for someone capable of doing it and get the squad additions we've been after and continue our domestic dominance and try and make some progress in Europe.

People have called Spurs a basket case the last few days - what does that make Chelsea this season then!? They've been an absolute car crash and I feel sorry for Potter tbh. Comes in mid season just before a WC break where he would've missed a load of key players to with with, then the mad yank owner signs half a squad with total scattergun approach and sacks him off the back of fan pressure. Had a * tonne of abuse off Chelsea fans and journos asking ridiculous questions every single interview.

I think he actually handled himself fairly well considering the above - and given how much emphasis Ange put on having a proper pre-season last year to work with the players I think it was harsh for GP to get a tune out of that huge squad of players he probably didn't pick.
