Up and coming managers who maybe aren't getting a crack at a larger league club will hopefully view us as a viable option to further their career, the way it will be now going forward

Levy has a notorious reputation for being difficult to deal with and wanting to get involved in all aspects of the running of the club.

I don't see this ending well for Ange, that's not out of bitterness, i genuinely believe he wont last long there.

The man who didn't have the backbone to tell the fans the truth and instead bullshit us? Cowardly, he will do what he is told now, he has been bought $$$$$$

He's working for a club whose chairman he knows personally as well as some of the board, there in lies the difference. There is a personal connection.

I am now dreading the usual stories claiming that the likes of Kyogo and Jota etc. will be leaving

If the Speccy One has managed to get £7m out of them then blow me he is even better than I thought.

Yeah but the players make all the difference! Well..whatever happens...it'll be an interesting watch! Might even take a wee look on MOTD if it's been a hammering!

But we don’t play in the same league as them. That’s the main draw the league. Doubt any Scottish Premiership manager would turn down a job in the top half of England and very few would turn down any of the teams who float about mid to bottom.

    Yeah same.
Something will have to give if him and Levy * heads plus the prima donna element and loser mentality among the squad and how he's already up against it with their fans.
I'm sure he will do well to a point and I'm not saying it through bitterness, he's a good manager, but I think with his rigid approach they will take a few pastings too.

He’s going to try and take Kyogo, Jota, Mooy, CCV and Reo with him.
    £200m if he does.

Well, if Ange does well then others will look at the pathway and the fact Spurs came in for a Celtic manager.. if he were to fail then we may look less appealing to managers who may not be sure about us.. can't do us any harm if is a success, surely.

Don’t think that really matters in all honesty. It wouldn’t do us any harm, but I also don’t think it would do us any good.

If he fails it makes no difference, the fact he got the job is what matters.

If a manager backs themselves to be successful in the PL then they will use us to get there.

    Just cant get enough
This for me shows just how good a job Peter Lawwell did over the years of gradually dampening down our expectations.
Just look back 20 years- MON left Leicester who were doing well in the EPL at the time to come here. He was able to convince the likes of Sutton, Lennon, Thompson and Hartson to leave the EPL for here.
He built a team that got to a European final and could beat absolutely anybody at parkhead.
Now we’re hoping that the manager who has just dumped us for the EPL does well so that it strengthens our reputation as an EPL feeder club.
All a bit sad if you ask me.

It's no bad thing to corner that niche in the market, as already mentioned this can be of great benefit to us, you always have to look at the bigger picture, particularly given the fact we don't have access to a massive tv revenue as they do in the EPL.

He's not. Kyogo and Reo might just about be good enough for their bench. Mooy wouldn't even make their bench. Jota is young and might one day be good enough to interest them but he isn't right now. CCV is by far the best defender in Scotland and yet was deemed surplus to requirements there. All of these players are good enough for the EPL, but they won't be going to Spurs.
