I wouldn't take Scott Brown as manager, but maybe as a coach in the Kennedy role.

I’ve had no update whatsoever today, so would be guessing mate.

I’d be very very surprised if the question isn’t asked of both Rodgers and Moyes though, based on a throwaway comment in Saturday’s aftermath. I’d like to think Nicholson and Lawwell Jr would have time to do their due diligence on other targets though.

I’d like to think we approach Potter before those two.

Don’t think Moyes is a diddy by any stretch but genuinely think he’d be a disaster here.

The money he’s spent at West Ham, and how much he’s wasted, is mind boggling and he still had them close to relegation this season.

The thought of him trying to break down 10 men on the edge of the box 30-35 times a season is grim. That Fulham game is giving me nightmares.

Is Rodgers even on speaking terms with DD/Lawwell? I find it strange we'd even acknowledge his interest in the role.

He’s another that I think an initial enquiry will go out to. The big question with Potter though is how his severance package with Chelsea is arranged. If he’s received a big upfront pay off then he could be an option, but if he’s on gardening leave then I simply can’t see why he’d take a huge wage drop to come here. He’ll also have his pick of Premiership jobs I’d imagine, so it depends what drives him.

Really the wrong time to appoint Moyes.

Yes. He was actually out for a meal with Lawwell not that long ago (but long enough ago that it’s not even possibly linked to sudden job availability).

I do think though, given how things are seemingly ending with Ange may open a wound or two with Desmond, it could curb his interest in bringing him back.

He ruled himself out on Viaplay, said Celtic would never ask him and if they did, he would turn it down if asked. Then he cracked me up by badgering the presenter to ask Ange if he was offski..he's a funny sod with a very dry sense of humour!

Shocked by the first part of your response, but the second one makes sense. This current situation is kind of similar to what Rodgers did, although less disruptive.

I never imagined DD and Lawwell to be forgiving types, though. I'd heard about them supposedly deciding not to sell Leicester anyone while Brendan was there.

It's Rodgers or Moyes. Not completely opposed to either of them really. Both have got to latter stages of Euro competitions in last few seasons, and both have enough in the tank to control things domestically.
