Agree, strongly hints at grey drudgery, effin dull football and a dull man. Could only be matched by Neil Warnock or fat Sam

    Welcome to Celtic Declan Rice

David Moyes has emerged as the frontrunner to replace Ange Postecoglou as Celtic manager.

The West Ham boss was the early favourite for the role before Brendan Rodgers emerged as a strong contender.

However, Moyes has now been made favourite for the post should Postecoglou move to Tottenham.

Postecoglou has reportedly been granted permission to discuss a move to the Premier League club after a formal approach.

And it's widely expected Postecoglou will make the switch to North London after sealing a domestic treble at Celtic this season

Now Moyes - who leads West Ham into the Europa Conference League final on Wednesday - has regained top spot with bookies to take over at Parkhead.

However, he claimed he hadn't considered a move to Celtic when he was quizzed on the job speculation.

On Friday, he said: “I’ve never even considered it.

“I’m West Ham manager and I’m really enjoying my period here.

“I’m hopefully trying to continue growing a really good football club so I’ve not given it any consideration.

“Through my years I’ve been linked with lots of jobs at different times but I have to say I’m really happy at the moment and I’m settled where I am.

“The club have been so good to me and we’re enjoying the journey we’re on.

Not gonna lie. I'm not that keen on Moyes, but will back him if he is the new man.

Would prefer someone who played better football, with knowledge of markets we can find bargains in.

The ITK's on KDS are hinting at Potter. Though I said I'd never believe then again after Howe :56:

Did Moyes ever inherit a team capable of fantastic football, or was he always working with squads that had issues preventing him from implementing modern football ideas? Genuine question since I don't watch EPL.

Do people really think Moyes is daft enough to play long ball in the SPFL? I would happily get behind him as manager, sure, it would be a different kind of challenge than his previous clubs, but I don't think he is incapable of rising to that challenge.

Moyes has ruled himself out so I don’t see the point in discussing him.

Think one thing we should have learned is not to believe a word a manager says, plus West Ham could well sack him

These bookies aren't aware that Clarke has a job, and had stated he wouldn't manage in Glasgow due to sectarianism and all the pressure that comes with it.

I would put my money on Moyes, if I had any to waste. Maybe not at the odds he's on now though.

Seems like the type of big(ish) name the board think would appease the fans after this shitshow. Managed at the highest level, ready to be out on his *, so no compo. Unlikely to be offered anything better .....
