    Just cant get enough
The lesson to be learned here is that there’s absolutely no loyalty in football these days.
No matter what patter they hit us with, these guys coming in from other countries don’t and won’t ever care about the club as much as we do.
Ange walking straight out after 2 years has surprised me but it really shouldn’t have.

Again though, do you think we would have kept Dembele if Rodgers was desperate to hold on to him?

I mean, Dembele has got a cheek.

Downing tools and refusing to train. Handing in transfer requests.

Rodgers is a pure * but Dembele acted like a pure * anaw.

Lack of competition as well. I walked into a fried chicken place up - looked at the prices £8 and walked out. It's like £4.50 in London. Oh well...Lidl 99p pizzas are now a go lol

The honest truth here is I don’t know he didn’t do that as I certainly don’t have any insider knowledge. However, the way it has come out and been handled suggests to me it hasn’t.

I also take the point Ange’s position on their shortlist has only moved up due to others not getting the job.

Overall I am not someone who is that bitter about this I understand his decision to go and face the realities if it was me in my job and I was offered 5 times the salary and essentially a bigger platform to work on I would go too.

I also read somewhere someone saying if our manager gets poached every 2 years, they are content with that as it means they’ve done a good job. I probably subscribe to that train of thought as well. I totally get it when it comes to players as well doing this.

On a sidetrack here but it’s probably why I think we need a footballing director who could provide a bit more continuity.

All in at the moment I am pretty excited (as well as disappointed) about what comes next. I just hope I am still saying that when someone is appointed.

I remember every Aussie saying this.

"He'll be here for 2-3 years max and set his sights on a top EPL team"

They were absolutely right and there's nothing wrong with that in theory. But Ange was sly with the support this whole time.

I'm not going to repeat it but everyone knows how Ange has portrayed himself to the fans during his tenure here. His false sound bites and promises.

Meanwhile he basically knew he was off whenever a half decent offer came in, whored himself around behind the scenes and had his agent working overtime to get him interviews.

It lacks sincerity and integrity. If he was straight up this whole time I'd genuinely have no qualms, Spurs is a huge opportunity for him. But he played us and I didn't think he was that guy.

I don't know why but I feel dirty and used by him. Come in, gave us all the patter then off at the first sniff of a 'big EPL' job. I wont take it away from him on what he done at celtic 5 trophies, feel good factor brought back, good football on show and left a decent squad to move on with and work with but still feeling quite bitter towards him now.

Are work permits just transferable from club to club?

Presumably Celtic arranged everything for him… maybe the government can rescind it and tell him to * off ?!?

Think this is the most balanced reply I’ve received tbh (no disrespect to anyone else - I totally get the general consensus that he’s burnt his bridges).

The Feyenoord gaffer obviously spoke to Spurs and decided he would prefer to stay put, but by all accounts he was open with his club about every step. Ange has certainly ruffled some feathers with his actions and trust is a difficult thing to ever regain.

Bit * to think he was at the Broony night absolutely lapping up the adulation of the audience knowing he was just about to * off to Spurs.

Aye Martin is sharp as a tac and doesn't miss. Ange couldn't even make eye contact with him.

It was the pre match interview on bbc that did it for me, looked like a wee boy caught with his hand in the biscuit barrel. Cringe af. knew then he was off.
