I think he’s burnt his bridges, clear as day this has been worked on behind the scenes.

If Ange came out and said I’ve been approached by Spurs but I’ve told them I’m not willing to speak to them until the cup final is over or listen to what they have to say I think most of us would have been ok with that.

But it’s the quoting Tommy etc and all the pish he’s said recently that’s got most people’s backs up and the fact he has been dodging the questions.

This summer is vital for us to really put them to sword and add some real quality if Ange stays will the board back him thinking he will always be on the look out for another job etc.

If they don’t back him in the summer it will set us back and we clearly need more quality next season.

 

The hypocritical ones will be. The ones with common sense won't.

Even if we accept the premise that this would make the fans happy, it would almost certainly unsettle every single player and member of the backroom team, not to mention take the attention even further away from an historic treble than the media already tried to do.

If Postecoglu had came out when he came here and spoke about his admiration for the Premier League when he inevitably got asked questions about it, I would be saying the exact same thing.

The simple fact is he spoke about building legacies. He spoke about having everything he wanted in the club. He quoted the clubs most loyal servant on trophy day. That's * poor.

Every single football fan on planet earth is a hypocrite. It's the way football works. Rodgers left us for the same reasons Postecoglu is leaving us now. I'm sure your opinion on Rodgers is as consistent as it is with Ange.
