There are Rangers players, but there are Huns, and Muscat has behaved like one his whole career.
Example: he faked the voice of an opposition player to make another opposition player do something that ended up ruining the chance.

If people are * off at Ange now, think what Muscat might do to us.

    So? :56:

He was a horrible * in his playing days but I don't give a * about who's leg he broke. If he comes in and keeps us going, or even improving on Ange like he has done in Japan....then he can put on my missus' voice and I'll pump him..

Rodgers, Clarke, maresca, Kennedy, brown, MON, wilder, Moyes.

Believe that's the top list from skybet to be our next manager. That's * grim reading.

Whoever it is though, better be someone not from that sort of ilk, surely.

Bookies list seems frozen in carbonite from a couple years ago, only thing its missing is Keane. They didn't have a clue who we were appointing last time so I don't put much stock in it.

I don't think Moyes is as bad as people make out.

I hear the analogy that managers like Brendan or Ange get a sight of a pair of knickers down south they are away chasing it.

And maybe that will be the same with some up and coming managers across Europe.

But with Moyes I think he would see us as his last big project. Hes been there and worn the t-shirt down there, plus he knows the city :)

But in saying that I still want Potter

Just remember Ange was nowhere near the betting list until we spoke to him after Howe

It is on his Wikipedia article. Second paragraph in the Reputation section.

Another name being mentioned is the Torino manager Ivan Juric. Not sure he would leave Serie A to come here but apparently has admirers within the club.

He is a Gasperini apprentice and plays a similar style to him, so would definitely be attacking football but tends to play a 3-4-2-1 or 3-4-1-2. So would need a good few signings to transition to this approach but it would probably be a decent fit for a lot of our squad.

Immediate stauner from me. I had suggested him a few years back.

Moyes not for me. Dull and defensive style of play. The stadium would be full of snoring.

MON played exciting attacking football when he managed us. So not sure what ilk you’re putting him into.

I’d take MON back over someone like muskrat or Rodgers any day of the week if those are the options on the table. You’d want to be completely mental not to.

Some of nobodies people are suggesting here, would make you question peoples sanity tbh.

Let’s be honest, we got lucky with Ange. It was a desperate shot in the dark and it worked out. But it’s not a strategy you would choose if you had other options.

We wanted Eddie Howe, and it’s very obvious to see why we wanted him… he’s a considerable step up in calibre from Ange even now after 2 seasons watching the fat Aussie doing a stellar job in the Scottish game.

I can only hope the board have someone of that calibre in mind again, and this time we can land our no.1 target.

Because there is no guarantee what you will get, if you take another punt on some unproven prospect. It could very well go * up the next time we try it.

That manager has only been at Urawa for 4 months. Unlikely it's him.

That resurfaced interview with DD from last year is now highly distressing.

"Peter and I have a list of 5. I didn't know who Ange was and I couldn't pronounce his name. But Peter was adamant he should be on the list".

At the time I was like, good break for us.

Now, it's scaring the * out of me.

DD and his poodle picking a new Celtic manager like two dicks picking ponies in the bookies on a Wednesday afternoon.

The same two halfwits that hatched a hairbrained, idiotic and ultimately disastrous scheme to reappoint Lennon and give him the job in a * shower , proclaiming they "didn't look at anyone else" like a badge of honour.

    Given Desmond's proclivity for being a complete asshat; I'm pretty sure the current "list of 5" reads;

    Neil Lennon
    Brendan Rodgers
    David Moyes
    Steve Clarke
    John Kennedy

    The fear is upon me.

Gallardo for me but I doubt our board would even try for him.

Think Farioli will be a certainty to apply for it.
