Nah I wouldn't disagree with you at all. Its a very lazy list lifted from 2021. Some candidates go back further as well.

Maybe I'm just a bit tetchy as of the situation we're now in. Plus I'm wary of the board in these matters but they've backed Ange all the way so they've earned credit there and time to sort it.

Want everything resolved quickly and the right man brought in and backed, which leads back to your point. Bar Knutsen and Potter, none of the names on that list get me going at all.

Its the bog standard lazy can't be arsed list that we always seem to get.. you and I could of picked the list.

I dont think we are in that bad a situation as people are making out. Most of our squad are on good contracts we have no CL qualifiers and money to spend.

Like you and I.. I think probably for a lot of us its the lack of trust in the board and especially with Lawwell back in the scene to get the next appointment right.

Get a new manager ASAP that fits our squad and style and we will be fine..

 

Don't let him near recruitment though. We'll be flat broke in no time with 15 new players sitting in the reserves.

I'm gonna go against the grain a touch here but I think I'd go for Muscat..

Would be a coup though. A really good coach that plays good football.....that Chelsea stint aside. There was factors involved though when you look at their transfer dealings..
