    Same here.

I don’t see the evidence that he’s behind the curve tactically.

You hear him speaking on tv, he’s still very sharp in his analysis. Far better pedigree in the game than many of the other names being mentioned. Only a few years older than Ange too. Definitely not over hill yet as some people seem to be suggesting.

My worry is that so many of our fans only seem to care about style over substance. So they’re happy to get a manager who plays an attractive style, even if they’re some complete novice with very little tactical awareness or experience getting results in big games.

It seems to be an attitude that has infested the game, not just at our club but across the game in this part of the world. Mostly propagated by fans with very little depth of knowledge on the game.

Castagne was never coming to us. Toljan on paper looked like a good signing, he was just *. But that's on Rodgers and Congerton for only wanting players who'd not come and not having a plan b.

Whoever comes in, it must be done quickly. players will get restless and have their agents looking at options. Ange will probably lure some of them, but we should get good money back in return. Its also being said we coukd be losing our backroom staff as well. Regardless what you think of JK, he brings continuity and would be a asset to whoever comes in.
    Get it done Celtic.

Why would we take Rodgers back man?

First season was good but form fell right off in the second and third seasons.

If he comes back he’ll do the same. If he has success he’ll immediately get bored and standards will slip while he’s looking at the available jobs for him to move to.

In comparison to some of the other names being floated about he's one of the more favourable options, because of the style of football he has his teams playing, but not confident with any name on the list to be honest :56:

Would be the same age as Ange when he got the job which just opens us up to this ''once in a lifetime opportunity' of managing in the EPL happening again.

Just think that it's a good opportunity for us to get a proper name in with a manager who has a proven track record and not the time for us to take a risk on someone that's never managed a team outside of Norway.

Tbh if we are wanting decent managers we are just gonna have to get used them * off down south at the first opportunity.

A weird idea that is probably hard to pull off given that the South Korean season is in full swing.

Hong Myeong-bo, the manager of Ulsan. They are running away with the league already. Career comparable to Ange.

Cheap solution, but our Asian lads might stay longer with him in charge. Obviously I'd prefer Glasner or Knutsen.

We will never know if Castagne would have or not to be fair. However, what I would say, the fact he had not a clue about us signing Shved and then made a remark about us already having loads of wingers calls into question how much control he actually had over signings. There was a lot of dross signed when he was here, how much of that was on him we will never really know. I don’t think we will need to worry anyway, as I don’t see a return happening. It shouldn’t happen either.

I thought he said that after we signed Shved mate? He definitely made the comment about having loads of wingers though.

I know what you mean, but I think we have a different kind of squad and a different attitude on the board now. Although it has taken time, Postecoglou, Rodgers and Ronny himself have really changed that culture over a period of 9 years. He wouldn't have to deal with what Ronny had to deal with. Although, like I say, I really respect him if he wants to stay at Bodo Glimt and also even if he does choose to move on, it seems unlikely we could pip Ajax to his signature. I would be very happy with him if we could get him though.

Sorry, Shved, but I'm certain Arzani was not one of his.
