Hope it turns out like the Tierney deal where they kept low balling us and we stood firm for the money.

 

I enjoyed his time here too but will wait to see what happens over the summer to decide if he has left us in a much better place.

 

Or the information getting to him is delayed?

I want it done ASAP. I'd welcome them only having to sort out the compensation package to Celtic. I don't want this dragging on.

 

Much like with players, we should be doing the same with managers and coaches.

Celtic should be a breeding ground for aspiring talent across the board.

Hot up and coming managers who want to manage in the big league should be looking at Celtic and thinking "I can win some silverware to make the CV good, whilst plying my trade in Europe and showing I can play football with the big leagues".

I'd rather see a string of late 30/40 something she'd managers come through for 2-3 years at a time, get no compensation for them, know they will play our football and do well, then move on.
Than be fed the usual bullshit by managers claiming legacies and all that, or the board being cheap *.

We don't need to spend £30m every season. Once the club has the ability to turn player profits over and has an established youth system, the incomes will cover most costs and we should be able to push the boat out for a good calibre manager.
