Bringing his own guy wasn't ever in the equation. He said he wanted to come in and assess the existing staff before bringing anyone else in.

This is all true if money continues to rise in epl those sides will just decide to not take part in the competitions as they feel the league is of more worth probably not bother turn up for Europa games and conference league games they are already moaning about the amount of games their is

I get you feel played, but I believe he meant what he said at the time, and I say that because of how he conducted himself beyond the words in the past 2 years.

As someone who lives in the same football backwater as Postecoglou when he did, getting an offer to coach in the EPL let alone Spurs is mind blowing for us, Levy or not. Mourinho, Conte, Pochetino....Postecoglou, its a massive massive thing for him, if he gets it.

We know we're going to lose players this summer anyway, what's the difference if Kyogo/Maeda/Jota etc go to Spurs or Arsenal, as long as they're willing to pay decent coin it's all one.

i dread to think of what players will be sold this summer ,ange has made a point of mentioning it a couple of times and lets not pretend that wont have an impact on any decision .people can talk all they want about how terrible it would be to work under levy at least he doesnt sell every decent player they have . lawwell and desmond can sit with the dour faces on but they are the reason no * sticks around .sell all our good players then spend half that trying to replace them while more champions league money and the other half of the player sales vanishes into the ether . its always the * same 1 step foward 2 sometimes 3 back im about sick of it .if ange does go to spurs i hope he does a rodgers and gets them relagated

 

I'll be quite suprised if Kyogo or Jota are snapped up by Arsenal or Spurs, mate. Unless it's as backup. Maeda definitely won't.
