Just read the comments on BBC sports page about Ange going to Spurs. The arrogance of these * is mind blowing. He is out the door before he’s arrived. Not surprisingly they talk about “pub league”
“Sacked by Halloween”. The huns also have their say. “running away from Beale’

After we appointed Lennon who had not long been sacked from Hibs, to follow on from Brendan Rodgers, I wouldn’t rule anything out.

Lots of speculation that Knutsen is interesting Ajax. Marsch I think has been linked with Monaco and they just sacked their manager do that could be another off the list of names mentioned. I think from what I have read Brendan Rodgers is the favourite and is the number one target with Kevin Muscat also on the list. Muscat by all accounts follows Ange to club teams and maintains the standards. Rodgers is guaranteed success even though he is still a rat.

I honestly think it'll be Rodgers, means the board don't need to actually scout a manager and we can get him in rather quickly.

Not saying I want him, but wouldn't be surprised.

If it’s Rodgers you can guarantee there will be no opening of the stadium to welcome him.

I get that, but at the time of NL's appointment, I felt that it was the correct one. FOR THE REST OF THAT SEASON :84: (only due to our position and him knowing Scottish football)

The board cannot * this up, or we'll lose the league and then some will lose their job again.

Brendan Rodgers returning would feel so underwhelming compared to his first arrival. Regardless of how successful he was here.

Huuuuuuuge gamble on Rodgers from earlier today. 5/4 now for the job.

The main positive for me if he gets it is he left last time saying he went because to take us further he needed more investment.

So he's coming back because he's been promised that investment surely to *?

To me it wouldn't be much better than bringing Lennon back. It's lazy as * and I thought we had learned from it since appointing Ange

It was definitely the right decision to get him in until the end of the season. In that situation, there really was no other alternative. Giving him the gig permanently however was outrageous.

Clarke could have Scotland qualified from the group by the end of the month if he wins both games.

Has just beaten Spain with relative confidence and played good football doing it. He’s doing something right to turn the corner with Scotland and restore belief.

He wouldn’t be my choice but a familiar manager for the Celtic board without the backlash of Brendan returning. Both would be a lazy appointment, we lucked out with Ange.

Clarke has undoubtedly done well with Scotland after a period where his success was probably debatable. But my *, if we appoint him, this place will erupt with fury.

Not that i want Clarke as manager but i don’t think many on here give him the credit he is due.

Do we think that the board have the names they want to approach or will they wait to see who applies?

Absolutely * no chance to Clarke, he ticks literally zero boxes.

His football is *, he has the charisma of a slug and he is 60 years of age with the grand total of zero trophies as a manager.

Moyes and Clarke would win us the league and would probably get the odd decent result in europe but * me it would be painful as * to watch

If the Huns were calling him names they’d obviously be chasing us

Clarke is a decent tactician but typically plays a very, very boring brand of football and has zero personality.

I really want us to explore other options before going for BR, but feel like we'll end up with him either way.. and for all we know he may be the best candidate we could get.

With Rodgers we know what we would get. His record for us was tremendous. 7 trophies out of 7. Forget about him leaving first time around. Bring him in. He has often said "he had unfinished business with us"
