I genuinely don’t see the attraction with the Spurs job unless it is about money, especially since the fans clearly don’t want him.
Given how readily they dispose of managers in the EPL, I really don’t get this big appeal of managing there.

Ach well, bye Ange. You'll never be at a better club but hope all goes well for him, he's a likeable guy. Can't say I'll be any more interested in Spurs than I ever have been. More interested in what we do next.

I no longer give a * what Ange does. Spurs have sacked managers after 10 games, he will not get the time to do what he wants down there if he has a bad start like he had with us and we've seem some insane results in that league, if he gets city in the first game or two his defence could literally ship 7 or more goals.

My concern is who does he steal from us Kyogo, Hatate, Maeda, Iwata, CCV, Jota, Abada could all be following him.

I just want an announcement tomorrow morning and the club moving on to the next chapter now, sick of all this pish, * should have just let us know what was happening so yesterday could have been a farewell celebration of his achievements with us as well as the world record treble, Martin didnt "beat around the bush" he let us know.

Instead he's going behind everyone backs and lying to our faces. someone mentioned to show him respect a few pages back, well that goes both ways mate and he has shown us none over the last week.

He'll go with my best wishes since he did at least stay and complete the season unlike the rat but i certainly wont care about his career down south, in fact it would be brilliant for us for him to flop so that english clubs DONT want our managers in the future.

anyway this better be over tomorrow morning, we need to move on quickly.

It's daft for anyone to assume that his style of football won't work down there, when we were in the CL we didn't get the results, but even after that first game against Madrid we were all full of praise because we actually created chances and were just let down by poor finishing, ok their quality showed in the end but we gave them a game for an hour. I don't think there's any reason implementing his approach with a higher baseline quality of player won't get results.

Pochettino is exactly who he'll be trying to emulate though. Shake up the top 4/a great run in the champ league, and now he's always in the frame whenever the PSGs and Chelsea's are looking for a new manager.

Just cannot wait for all this * to be over with. Been trying g so hard to remain respectful and understanding of Ange's position, but I keep going back to that image of Lawwell and Desmond after the game with their face tripping them.

As much as they've both been guilty of making an * of it at various times, they still want our club to be successful, that goes without saying. So to see them like that on such a historic day, it just screams to me that they feel betrayed. Which means we have all been betrayed.

Would love to know how things have actually panned out behind the scenes as I have a gut feeling Ange has shafted us somehow.

They were in a Champions League final a few years ago and are rightly or wrongly one of the big 6 in England he will believe he will be the man who can win something with them and make them a force in Europe.

He’s moving from a * league to the most high profile league in the world. Coaching better players and given more money to sign players than he gets here. The fact he’ll be earning more money is obviously another positive but not a chance it’s the only reason someone would leave Celtic for Spurs.

As much as us Celtic fans don’t like it, it’s a massive step up for him professionally.

The dip was mainly because he pushes the squad to work so hard all season. The tempo and energy he demands is so taxing on the players bodies that once the line is crossed the have to take their foot off the pedal so they don't risk unnecessary injuries or burn themselves out.

And as much as we don't like it, the fact that he's walking into such a high profile job is a big carrot to wave around when we're looking for our new manager.
