Let’s not kid ourselves on if he was offered the spurs job 2 months ago when conte left he was away then!

 

I feel the common denominator here is Levy, who by all accounts meddles with the football department.

He’s never given any manager a lot of slack in building a team.

Formulating a team to compete at the top end of the EPL is an entirely different proposition when the competition is a lot fiercer.

Whatever happens it will be very interesting.

Can't wait to put over 8.5 goal bets on every Spurs game when he's there.
I can't see this going well for him and not through any fault of his. They managed to see off Pochettino, Mourinho and Conte and they'll do the same with Ange.

 

We move on, maybe the next manager won’t have us getting spanked in Europe. Looking forward to our next chapter.

Contracts don't really count for much these days tbh.. I get we won't get much compensation but if he signed a 3yr deal he'd still be off..

He was a risk initially so I can see how it works for both parties.

 

How is it all about money?

Think that’s incredibly harsh and the usual pish spouted by some fans when our best players leave for pastures new.

 

I’m not going to be bitter towards him.

He owes us nothing but some of the things he came out with regarding Tommy and about being at the club building something etc…… that is a sting in the tail.

I want him to go down there and make an impact, the reason I say this is, because of all the negativity towards us and the Scottish league by these * * holes down south.

Always knocking the standard and the achievements of our club.

If Ange did go down there and turn it around it would be brilliant for us and Scottish football too.

Can I see it happen? Under Levy? The horrible * * Spurs fans, probably not cause they will hound him out.

Well in recent games it was certainly more to do with the league being over.

 

Not sure about that one tbh.. bit unfair..

 

I was thinking this that something maybe came out around the time of the 4-2 defeat to Hibs. We were awful in that game and Maeda came on in a stinking mood which eventually got him sent off.

Not for me man.

Clubs do this all the time, once a league title is wrapped up, big changes in players or even just taking the eye off the ball at times.

Happening right now with barcelona as well.


The fact we went back to a near full strength team last game against aberdeen and comfortably took care of them, is enough for me to know it was about the changes. Not the manager.

Those same fans will want Ange punted if he starts his reign in the same way he did with us. They aren't the most tolerant of fans down there and some of the media are just as bad

 

I was thinking that myself. It makes sense. We’ll never know though.
