Who could we replace Ange with?

Ajax are interested now so might be difficult

 

If Rodgers were to return I'd be disappointed.

Not because of how he left in the first... more that the board don't see the issue with it and fail to see he's the complete opposite of Ange.

It's arguable that Ange had has improving gradually and could have really achieved something special in Europe within his 3rd season here.

Rodgers has now solidified the idea he's no good for more than 2 seasons.

The state he will leave things will be dangerous.

Our managers only last 2 years now anyway so we are fine.
He's got a track record of initially improving teams so next 12 to 18 months should be good before he * off back to some mid table *

 

I’m all for being optimistic, but what actual evidence do you have to support the notion that Ange would have achieved something special in Europe next season.

I didn’t see anything over 2 full European campaigns to suggest any progress. I was hopeful we might see something, but not confident of it.

 

Never thought of that but Ajax are a massive club, hard to turn them down

 

He's not Ajax's first choice. So it's a possibility

 

What's Rafa Bentiez up to? Surely we would be his last big club. Already done his time in England so that horse has bolted. Tactics still relevant in todays game. They'd work in the SPFL and could organise us for CL...and FREE!

Just a thought.

 

Rodger’s does have a good first 18month track record in his jobs in improving players ,

I think he would give his all as he is trying to repair his reputation and in doing so would improve the team

also it’s the type of appointment that would put the Huns back in their box

we really need a top manager in to continue to improve. No gambles

 

Sadly his time has passed , needs clubs that’s going to through money at him

I do think that we have probably already sounded out a few people , with DD been here a few times past few weeks I’m sure they would have known ange was for the off

 

Was fearful of the huns getting him twice in the last 18 months. Thankfully there manager recruitment only stretches as far as ex huns.

He'd be a step up from Ange as he's shown he actually has a style that can bring success at home and in europe.

It's just typical that's he's been available for all this time and now we actually need a manager teams like ajax are sniffing about

Say if we do bring in an up and coming manager who has great aspirations for the future... I hope we treat them with utter contempt the second they make a mistake and everytime after just to keep * humble. I * hate them already
