He's not the favourite for Ajax role. Think there's one or two ahead of him

Knutsen is the man for me. The Bodo team completely nullified us in a manner I’ve rarely seen even the top teams do, and made us look *.

Should go for his sporting director as well. He's been heavily linked with Ajax just now

    Aye I totally agree.

It was men vs boys against them, they absolutely dominated us. Pumped us home and away, with a fraction of the budget.

Knutsen, sporting director and a couple of players would be ideal.

Pie in the sky would be Potter but can’t see him leaving that Chelsea pay off to come up here for far less.

Knutsen is then the obvious choice but he’s obviously not been tempted away yet plus just into their new season, can’t see him leaving just now.

Any talk of Rodgers, Moyes etc can get tae *. We need to move forward here, not backwards.

That's the guy that springs to mind for me.

Only problem with him is lack of exposure to other markets in terms of recruitment - although there could be a few gems in the Scandinavian market we've overlooked.

He seemed to favour players that were units as well as the ability. We definitely need to improve in that respect.

Knutsen looks the real deal the more I read about him (on top of the schooling he gave us last season).

Took a full year for his team to finally click though...

You could have said the same about Ange though in terms of recruitment

Would be different coming into a squad already used to a style of play that's pretty similar. He's the man for me, but somehow I just don't see us going for him.

Massive opportunity for us to ensure we keep going in the direction we've been pointed towards by Ange. Fork the cash out for a big name. Taking a punt on Knutsen and taking steps backwards like with BR is the wrong move to play imo.

Can fully see us going for Scott Brown though, agonisingly.

    True.

He'd be a very interesting appointment for sure.

This 100%. The standout candidate by a long way for me. They were miles ahead of us when we played them and they did well against other teams in Europe.

They play great football but were also defensively solid.

I am surprised he is still at Bodo but it’s clear he won’t be short of interest elsewhere.

I really don't know how I would feel if it's to be Rodgers his record was excellent but the football in the last season tapered off massively alongside the obvious

I was saying earlier to try getting an ambitious young Bielsa disciple like Corberan in but what are the chances of the man himself being tempted away from Uruguay to spend 4 Saturdays a year sitting in the dug out of the Toni Macaroni? He was linked in 2021 but don't know that it was anything serious.

His football slow and possession based, the bigger issue was his recruitment. We really can’t take a backwards step now with the money we have to spend and value within the squad.

I think when Ange goes a Rodger return will be announced alongside it tbh

The Bodø or that even Brugge bloke who was mentioned that sounded great. Apart from that, I've no idea.

Knutsen 100% needs to be our top priority here. His Bodo team swept us aside with ease and played a better version of Ange ball.

Unfortunately I don't think it will be him though.
