It makes sense now for him being at the game.

I think the board has known since DD spoke with him as well.

Spuds would have to at least double what we gave them for CCV.. can't see see that * Levy going for that ha

Kyogo is a worry.. I think the rest of the squad are safe from Spuds.. they will be shopping in an entirely different market

    Yep. Rodgers was the outlier.

Never really liked it tbh. Mostly because 20 years later you still need to explain to some people what a rolling contract is.

This, when you come to Celtic your expected to win every game, if you don't you get a fair bit of leeway, a draw and a loss back to back in the EPL players down tools and your sacked by week 3.

The good thing for Ange is he is a good motivator, good people person and will get the best out of people if they buy into it. That's where the issue lies, will they buy into it?

We gave him one as well. Mowbray was the only one we hadn't

I think the big picture here is to remember where we were 2 years ago, in an absolute mess and I would of given my left baw to win 5 trophies in 2 years playing some of the best football we’ve seen in decades while amassing a squad full of serious talent.

If Ange goes he’ll go out as one of best managers we’ve had and one that could of accomplished far more. Maybe he’ll regret that but the chance to manage in the EPL at 57 is just too tempting even for him.

This is where Nicholson can really prove his worth, go and find someone that will take us to the next level. With the squad we have, cash in the bank and CL football, there’s not many that wont have a keen eye on the opportunity here.

He was promised a better money after season 1 and then was sold

    I said this last week.

Hate to be proven correct, especially in this instance, but the minute the links intensified it was clear as * day he was going. Watching his bizarre behaviour yesterday was the nail in the coffin.

I totally understand him leaving for a genuine "big" club in England, but at the same time he has done us dirty. No two ways about it. We loved/worshiped/idealised him. But it still wasn't enough for him to walk out on us at the first opportunity (albeit a "big" one).

It's a sickening scenario all round.

Yeah I meant are the start of his tenure.

    Mowbray? Who’s that, doesn’t ring a bell.

To be fair, the Scottish press have been incompetent in their reporting in the past. Alex Thompson had to pull up Hugh Keevins, for his paper not accurately reporting on the huns, when they went bust.

Nobody actually knows this by the way. It’s part of a lot of conjecture in this thread.

Wish managers wouldn't come in and launder the names of people like Tommy Burns. Its fine to move on at the end of the season, disappointing to leave while there is still meat on the bones of this squad, but he didn't phone it in for months and * off mid season (our mediocre form in Rodgers' last half a season is often papered over). Wish I could say I wish him all the best for real, but I couldn't give a * about what a manager does after they leave. With a player sometimes it can be different, but a manager is his own man.
