His words I took with a pinch of salt purely because we had been stung before with Rodger who had an alleged connection with the club the thing that will sour it with me is if he does go in the next 24 hours he's clearly been in contact with spurs for a while in some way or another whilst telling everyone else something different.

I think he's been my fav manager we've had in my life time so it's a kick in the * to see him go regardless

Not to sure board only spend if they know it’s a sure thing like when we bought jota and ccv we spent that money because the loans proved good players

I don’t think they give an unknown quantity the same backing simply because they don’t know what they will get

I would tell them to do one. Unless the offer is ridiculous.

I get that, but it feels as though he's leaving a job that's just really starting to come together. Feels like he's bailing out of a job which there's more to achieve especially in Europe.

It's * heartbreaking as it seems we are yet again going to be taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

It would be pitchforks and burning torches for Ange if he nabbed Kyogo lol

As for him taking the squad

    Kyogo is happy
    Jota is happy
Hatate could do with maybe another season or 2 before he moves

I doubt Rodgers would want to come back.

The specualtion is intensifying with Ange and it's being reported he'll be announced tomorrow.

This is really unfair. It's not just that he hasn't jumped ship mid season like Rodgers, he hasn't phoned in the last 6 months of his time here like Rodgers, he hasn't left for the first EPL club to contact him like Rodgers, he hasn't left to join a much smaller club like Rodgers (Spurs are a similar size to us), he hasn't been lying and making up weird stories like Rodgers, I'm betting he won't try to take everything not nailed down like Rodgers.

He really hasn't handled the last week very well but he hasn't actually done anything wrong.
Wish him well and move on without him. Celtic are bigger than one person.

I get that. But did Ange not say he's got so much more he wants to achieve here especially in Europe. Feels like he's bailing out. Maybe not quite like Rodgers, but if he has held talks with Spurs already after he said he was focusing on the rest of the season and the cup final, that would be majorly disappointing and disrespectful from him.

Thing is, you take one look at the Spurs squad, the EPL money involved and then the difficulty of the challenge of getting Spurs to be a trophy winning team.

You can see why, with the career ambitions and self belief a guy like Ange has, why he'd jump at that type of chance.

Fanbases can argue back and forth all they want about club sizes and histories etc... but the rebuild and restructure needed there is what we were but dialled up to 11.

Under Ange, Spurs will absolutely win something as he'd completely turn that squad around once Kane is sold, they are easily more successful as a team unit once Kane is sold.

He doesn't even need £100s of millions to do it either.

I'd rather he stayed and gave us some historic moments in CL/Europa next season because I believed he'd be the man to do it, but painfully it just seems like the pull of EPL is too strong.

He can be in no way compared to Rodgers though, not even in the slightest...

Same.. but if Ange comes for him and we refuse then we are left with an unhappy player and we all know how that usually ends..

If it's a ridiculous offer we won't refuse..

This is my only fear of losing Ange.. the players might fancy a new challenge too..
