I still think he finds a new club. Not sure if he can continue here after this.

It’s more Nicholson Ange works with. You’re looking for someone else to blame. If reports are true then you’re massively wrong. Biggest transfer budget new analysis room etc that’s not happening if Lawwell was interfering

Honestly the Tommy quote might be the worst if it was known the deal was far down the road.

Empty platitudes to soften us up.

I can’t stress enough if the man walked in the door and was all business from day one, I would be wishing him all the best.

Is it the PR department feeding them this *? Every time you watch Celtic TV it’s all “what about these supporters eh?”

Quoting the great Tommy Burns knowing you have one foot out the door is absolutely horrendous if you ask me.

Lawwel never * off anywhere though, he's still had a seat on the board the entire time Ange has been here.

I think strachan told him about Tommy burns on the Scott brown night and he’s went and quoted him on the trophy day fake as *

    Very Good question..

I'd have to say he's done for me now. I've already resigned to the fact he won't be our manager next season, even if he doesn't get the Spuds job.

    Time to move on

    Time will tell.
If we go ahead and do all those things regardless of Ange, then excellent.

But if we end up with a usual suspect sort of manager and things get reigned in regarding upgrading facilities and the likes, then it's only going to fuel that thinking that lawwells return is a bad thing.

I know he always kept a place at the club due to Europe, but he didn't really have any say/control during that time - anyone who claims he will have, needs to then ask serious questions of what that means about how the club is ran if he still had a say during that time.

Same sort of questions need asked of people who now claim as a chairman he's not really involved - because that's not completely true either. We all wanted rid of bankier - it's literally his job he's got now.

Anyway, time will tell. But for me, this summer was always the crucial one - back the manager, go all in, speculate to accumulate, build from strength and the likes.
If we don't(with or without Ange), would be telling more of how the board run the club (with or without PL).

I just don't know. Mixed bag of emotions right now to make sense of things but i'd have said back him to the hilt half an hour ago but the recent information changes things if it's all been going on behind the club's back for a while.

Like I said. The summer will tell us more, with or without Ange.

It’s weird though that he’s all legacy, here until I’m not wanted etc. Lawwell walks back in the door and Ange is apparently gone.

It could be Lawwells reputation preceding him but I got the absolute fear when I seen him and Desmond cosied up together.

As I said. The summer will be telling.

For the European thing, yes, but that role was not involved in the same way he was or is now.
He stepped down/back and kept a figure title for that time.

He's now in bankiers job, very much has a say in things now.

Maybe just me but I like the quote and think it was used in a way that was complimentary to the support and usedat and appropriate point. Not too sure what there is to get offended by.

Cracker Jack season. Record breaking with great football in a manner and ethos that epitomised the Celtic way...to end like this os gutting.

    Exactly man.

This summer will be telling for sure.

We throw £30m kitty at a modern manager and build all the facilities we've rumoured said to Ange, then I'll continue to believe the clubs turned that corner.

But if we appoint Kennedy, brown, Lennon, sort of manager and only give him 5-10mill and what he sells, whilst not improving facilities.

Yeah, that's gonna be very * telling.

Again all speculation... if he goes he goes would rather him stay. Not one of us on here really knows what has happened and I mean not one of us
