Absolutely bricking it, that we will * up the appointment. I want Potter or the Bodo manager. Guaranteed we will hire a dinosaur like Moyes or bring back O’Neill * that!

 

One thing in our favour in terms of the practical side of things is that Ange delegated a * of a lot so even if the hunt drags on JK, GS and Cal will know what to do in the meantime. I mean Ange admitted he never seen the inside of the dressing room at Lennoxtown or saw the players befor each game because he trusted Cal to handle it. Same on field he trusted Cal to lead any change in tactics needed mid game and that was a lesson he learned during the UCL, that if something isn't working the players need to feel its ok to change tactics and be more direct.

That's supposing he doesn't try take them with him (which I can't see)

I don't want a "Celtic man" or anybody who claims to have been a fan since being a kid or anything, just some ideally non British guy who comes in and can do a job.

Ideally somebody from the Scandinavian market or German, Austrian market. A guy who has managed a club similar to us in that they are in and about the champions league and European football who has worked under a budget similar or smaller to us.

We pulled Ange out of nowhere, so I hope we can do the same again.

 

So long as it’s not Clarke or Brenda…

Someone with a bit of European pedigree, so we can really get excited about CL nights again without the fear of being pumped every game. Turn paradise back into a European fortress, like it used to be!

We’d move on quick from Ange if we could get some of those great nights back!

No point being doom and gloom about things. We’ve got a solid foundation for someone to come in and build on.

Honestly so long as he at least stays for one full season I don't mind under the priviso that the club are aware that he is likely to go and use that year to do the succession planning they haven't been able to do with Ange.

I'm fine with a manager coming and saying I'm here for 2 years, I'm going to give you my all and work for every win and then I'll see where things are.

It's the "building a legacy" "here as long as In wanted" pish Ange spun us I can't be doing with.

His stock has fallen, but has his ability fallen that much? I still think he’s got something to offer.

Analytical sort of guy, who could make us harder to play against in Europe. Who knows, maybe even pull off some miracle run to the knockout rounds.
