The mental state of Spurs fans will be a factor in the decision-making process afterall. They are ready to do damage to ENIC/Levy if the appointment is bottled. The conventional wisdom then dictates Enrique or someone of that caliber will be appointed, as the risk for failure is seen as lesser.

He’s been a free agent for months why not appoint him straight away? Are they bowing to fan pressure if he gets it?

This is what gets me he did that big speech last week about what a lucky man he is one thing he didn't mention us that he is a lucky man because he has a board that backed him to the hilt and put all their faith in him. That is not the norm in today's football climate and it's massively contributed to him being able to build something here so quickly. He is not going to get that backing at Spurs he just won't and after this carry on he won't get the same backing at Celtic again.

Might be. Levy is not viewed positively by Spurs fans. Enrique is a big name that might mollify them- until games show his worth. Also, Ange might not agree with Levy's plans to install a DoF. That appointment is also expected to happen, but Ange does that role himself, and likes the extra control. Levy is the one who calls the shots, ultimately.

Fair point mate, however it’s looking increasingly likely that he is interested.

Only way he is at Celtic next season is if Spurs opt for someone else or Ange doesn’t get the control he would like.

Ive had time to calm down and think rationally about this now.
I was taught far too emotional yesterday.

Today, I want him to get to * out of my club.
I don't think he's been offered the job yet but we need to cut ties.
