At 57 he won’t have much longer left until he hangs up his pen and pad.

Now if it was me I would go for the top job when my family comes first.

    Money calls the shot’s unfortunately

It’s obvious that he’s not committed to the club and all the chest slapping is cringeworthy. We as a club and particular the lifeblood of the club the supporters deserve better.

I hope the annoucement will be sooner rather than later, the season may have ended but time is of the essence, i suspect DD & PL already have the process underway.

Could it not be argued that we weren’t totally committed to Ange as well though. Why did we not offer him a long contract at the end of last season? He had earned it.

This stuff is nonsense. He's not a player with a time limit on his career. Sure the money he's on here, and would make if he was here for a few more years would be enough to keep him well off until he retires and beyond.

Managing in England and competing against doped up teams is what seems to be the obsession nowadays. No chance Spurs do anything of note in the near future but he would obviously fancy his chances, as most managers would. I don't think he would accept anything we put in front of him. Unless someone falls in love with the club and everything that comes with it, we're stuck playing second fiddle to any team that manages to get themselves into that soulless league down south.

Been on the main spurs forums. Roughly 75 percent don't want Ange. The usual Scottish football is a one horse race pub league.errr man city.lol.spurs isn't the best choice for Ange I hope he stays but if not go to a bigger better European team.spurs are a basketcase. Just watch their documentary. I wouldn't go near them with the proverbial 10 foot pole HH

We did apparently and Ange didn’t want.

Absolutely certain that came from the man himself, or a close as * to it.

Yeah in our World mate that's the case, but they always have to maintain their luxury lifestyle, plan ahead for their family's life etc etc, as much as i don't like it i understand it and would probably do the same if in their position.

Not the point I was making.

70k a week is an obscene amount of money and literally no purchase on earth would be beyond reach.

I hate modern football, absolutely loathe it.

From top players getting half a million a week to 18 year olds in Chelsea reserves on 10k having never kicked a ball professionally.

    Game’s a bogey.

I know but the simple fact is, money makes the world go round. It’s why they all leave.

So what's the state of play here then?

Has he been offered the Spurs job or is he one of a couple on Levy's list?

Is it nailed on he wants to leave or just interested in pitching for the job?

Are we making him an offer to stay?

Can't stand our board especially lawell and Desmond. We need fan ownership like Germany. after all it's OUR money that runs the team the least we should have is 50 percent fan ownership HH
