Dunno I reckon it could work in his favour-there comes a point when even the likes of their chairman accept that they need to change, or things could get even worse. Otherwise why appoint a relative unknown to manage the team?

Think I’m going to need to keep rolling rolling rolling across the floor to my bed when the time comes. Not quite yet though.

Far too much rage in here for me.

The man is leaving, and we may not understand the footballing reasons ie; the massive gamble he's taking with a decades built reputation, but we should at least consider the financial aspects of it.

Whilst in Japan; Ange had "kids are covered for college and a house" money.

I'm pretty sure the step up to us brought him to "we have a few properties here and there and a good few quid tucked away".

The move to Spurs will make it; "my grandkids will be born millionaires "

It's as simple as that. It's not life changing money, it's * you money. AND if he succeeds... It's * EVERYONE money.

There's very few of us wouldn't take that gamble.

    He's gone.

Thanks big Ange. Hope the move works out. We think you're better than Spurs, but we understand.

    Ta ta. Take care.

Now into th next one ...

Going by some of the spurs podcasts tonight they don't want him and they are saying he will be sacked after 10 games and that's the kind of environment he's going into .

I can't say I blame him if he is to go.

It's just insanely deflating. I thought he'd give us at least 4 years service. But as has been said I also don't think he expected a job like Spurs to appear as quickly.

Its a shame, it'll hurt if he goes, but we will move on.

Its a bizarre feeling to feel such mixed emotions after a * treble.

You'll do for me, far too sensible for a Ravens man.

What sticks out to me is how devastated the support is. I've no direct experience but "smaller" clubs across Europe, let's say Salzburg, plan for this all the time. They accept their rung on the ladder and they always prepare for life after.

As Celtic fans I get it's hard to accept, but Austria have a higher coefficient than us purely down to Salzburg's hard work and foreplanning. Ange leaving is hard to take, maybe he's left sooner than we thought, but a modern day football club with lower finances should always be looking at a replacement while the current manager is in place. It's *, * me Luton could now outspend us, but I'd be more disappointed in us not having a "plan B" than Ange leaving.

I'm sad about it, but if we can't come close to replacing him, it's on the club more than Ange. Time to show were a modern day club and we just didn't get lucky.

Silver lining; Rodgers must be * FIZZING .

Absolutely no doubt in my mind Rodgers said to himself ",I'll do a few years at Leicester, get them a few top 6 finishes, maybe a cup, maybe a wee euro run, then one of those big London gigss will come calling, Arsenal, Spurs, maybe even Chelsea."

And there's Ange, waltzing into it with ZERO EPL experience. :smoke:

    Completely agree.

Ange helped us modernise massively. I just hope we have got our act together with recruitment where we're planning on what players to be upgraded/replaced as well as members of staff.

Salzburg are the model that we must adopt if we are to be successful in any transition off and on the park.

I’m going to assume you're joking here but I couldn’t give a monkeys fart what Rodgers thinks or feels and it’s certainly not a silver lining.

I would like some @Random Review perspective please?

Ecstatic and devastated in equal measure
