That response is far too reasonable, haha.

I completely appreciate where you’re coming from and I do second guess the use of “legend”, I just also think a lot of our fans disregard or downplay what we’ve achieved.

Have a belter of a night mate :60:

Right up against it? Being gifted a squad that has won 5 out of 6 trophies in 2 years?

Really right up against it is coming into a club where most of the fans and media do not want you in a shambolic state- on and off the pitch- a few weeks before the season starts quarantined for 2 weeks so coaching via zoom with no family, no backroom support team, then taking on the recruiting, culling and re-building the bulk of the squad to then go on and win 5 out of 6 trophies by playing attacking, entertaining football

If the new manager can't manage Kyogo, Hatate Maeda and Oh then you need a better manager

Surely he wouldn’t come in for any of the players, not right away anyway. Said he had too much respect for Yokohama to go after Maeda right after joining us.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
    He’s gone.

When he took over we had no squad and had been * in the league

He’s done an incredible job. He finished the season with a treble. We have champions league and a squad with a lot of value.

Don’t get me wrong, lawwell and Desmond looked sick though. Big appointment coming up

Many of the witches I read about when I was a boy were extremely attractive women. This analogy doesn't work for me.

Well therein lies the problem when it gets played out in the media with fans demanding to know today what the state of play is and why Postecoglou has tried - and admittedly failed- to keep a lid on it

If he’s to go, just go as we need to get ready for next season asap.
He’s done a great job, but he’s no legend I was hoping he would stay to become one though.

If he does leave this summer, I don't think it's fair to previous managers to call Ange a legend.

Two seasons, albeit very successful seasons, but with a poor record in Europe and leaving the first chance he gets will always leave a bitter taste in people's mouths.

Doesn't mean I don't greatly appreciate what the man's done, but he needed to stay 3 seasons minimum, with another year of success, to even be close to the legend category, and even then Ideally it'd have been 4 before we label him with it.

Appreciate what he's done greatly, but he's not a legend.

It wouldn’t be number 8 if it wasn’t for the ones that came before though

The faces of two men worrying about how high they will need to build the fences when they appoint John Kennedy.

I have absolutely no idea what your point is? Because we’ve done it before, today is less of an achievement? Nonsense.

As I clearly stated; they’re all special in their own way.

If he does go then he’s still behind Strachan and Lennon for me.

Better football, undoubtedly. Some of the most exciting football I’ve seen us play.

The fact he didn’t want to make a mark on Europe will always work against him.

No my point is you can’t put the 8 down to just this team as their achievement because without the teams from before it would t be at number 8

Agreed.....Tarvanier is classed as a legend and won 2 trophies in about 8 years.

Aye that's the thing, had he stayed even one more year, he'd definitely be ahead of Strachan and I'd probably have put him ahead of Lennon and on par with O'Neill.

If he leaves now, it's hard to argue he's ahead of any of them. He brought us up from a terrible, terrible place, and it's why I'll always appreciate the big man, but leaving after 2 seasons is meh.

He will believe his strength is his ability to get players to want to run through walls for him. I get he will be dealing with a different class of player ego. But given that Tottenham has a group of players who under-performed the players too will be feeling the pressure to perform, not as much as Postecoglou but they will know better is expected.

Are you putting Strachan below Lennon and O’Neil?
