When the mcginn deal fell thru and the fall out with the fat accountant happened that summer I think he was always on way out. I just thought he'd have the respect to see out the season.

At least if he gets the job this time we know we can't trust him

 

Funnily enough there was a shot of Pistol Pete during the game looking down at his phone, probably seeing if any of the managers he has sounded out have responded. Both of them looked glum though. Think the relationship with Ange has soured since this Spurs thing has started.

 

End of a short but successful era. Feels that way as well.

Despite what people say about JK I do think he NEEDS to be there for the next manager, continuity is important. He knows the players, they probably see him day in and day out in training moreso than Ange so it's good for them as well he sticks on.

Did he actually get approached to go to China and was in talks?

I will be honest I can’t remember him talking to a club directly.

Also he did want others to sign as we made profits with the sales of others, at the time we did need a good right back.

 

I think in years to come people will ask what Anges third season euro run might have brought us...forever speculation and what ifs

 

Mcginn was the final straw I think

 

I still think Rodger’s is a rat * and would never truley feel he was 100% commited even if he was but I do think it’s the kind of appointment the huns would hate

 

I thought he would have seen out the season too, but that January window took the * to be fair.

I understand purely on a level of him getting one over on the board leaving early but as fans it ducking stung when he left and rightly so he got it tight

 

Just posted that. His head is turned and there's no coming back from that. Board members would think do we trust this guy enough to go all in on him....probably not. Next job that comes up and we're right back here.
