I had this conversation earlier player wise I could only come up with Larsson and Van Dijk but no manager has

Which he knows but I just think he might feel its a risk he is willing to take.

As of 10pm tonight still no contact from spurs.

If they approach on Sunday or Monday and it's done quickly then he will have some awkward final conversations with the board here I feel.

Common feeling amongst board members is the agent has taken us for a total ride.

Only time they get a bigger audience is when they play Man Utd and liverpool this why the sides mentioned wanted a super league as other English teams are profiting from their audiences but like the spfl does here from Celtic and rangers to a point

I remember there was a Southampton fan on here at one point as well when they signed Wanyama I think it was, telling us how they were building to be a top side blah blah blah. * them and Leicester.

Ange Postecoglou has vowed to ensure Inverness Caledonian Thistle don’t add his name to the list of Celtic managers the Highlanders have denied glory.

The Parkhead boss is determined to land the Treble with a Scottish Cup success over the Highlanders at Hampden this evening in what Hoops fans are praying is not his final match. Spurs are believed to be ready to open talks with Postecoglou as early as Monday as they step up their bid to lure the Aussie from Glasgow - but the man himself is adamant his focus in 100 per cent on making sure Billy Dodds’ men don’t add his scalp to those belonging to John Barnes, Martin O’Neill, Neil Lennon and Ronny Deila.

He said: “That’s what is going to be on me for the rest of my career (if Celtic lose). Irrespective of what happens to me next. I’m not going to let that happen. It’s not all in my power, obviously. But I’m going to make sure we are going to be absolutely well-prepared to deliver on the day.

“That story…there is a history with them and this football club and it has been mentioned to me numerous times. I was well aware of it anyway. It has destroyed managers’ careers, and I’m not going to let that happen, I’m just not.”

Inverness have had a month off since the end of their league game, which Celtic stuttered in the league after wrapping up the title on the first weekend of the split. But having watched his side restored to almost full strength against Aberdeen on trophy day last Saturday, Postecoglou is adamant his players will be ready to chase another domestic clean sweep.

He added: “This group of players has always delivered on big days. They’ve done that consistently since round six (of the league) last year.

"You name me a game, apart from the Scottish Cup semi final last year, every other time it’s been a big game of consequence, they’ve delivered. I’m not worried about them being complacent, irrespective of who we were facing in the cup final, it’s the make up and character of this team that on a big day they will perform.

“It doesn’t guarantee the result but there will be no sense of complacency in their mind. It’s just not what this team is about

Just ignoring the fact he has to prove the team he built can dook it out in Europe I’m all for finding reasons for why he would jump ship be it money but let’s not kid ourselves and say it’s because he has nothing left to prove he’s leaving this project early

Fair enough. Van Dijk is another one but can’t think of any more.

Plenty players left and went on to more money. Money talks, especially when you're 57 with kids. You get some people that are sentimental and don't care about that *, but they're few and far between.

Doing us dirty? Pish. Ange answered questions the exact same way he has since he arrived here, you want him to have a sudden personality transplant? He says he's focused on the next game same as ever and not paying attention to all the other *, you're only paying attention to the other * and winding yourself up. If he's already signed a deal with spurs or agreed a new deal with us, he would say the same, he's focused on the game.

I genuinely wonder this week, with so many people making these kind of comments, have they ever actually listened to a single presser he's done before? He has never given the media anything definitive, why would he start now?
