Yeah we were a shambles but we were a club with ambitions of winning trophies and competing in europe.

Spurs's last manager basically through his hands up and said * this bcoz the entire club have * all ambition and don't particularly care if they win a trophy or not.

They are a rich equivalent of st mirren.

Let's believe together. He was at youth cup final matches with the board recently, had a meeting with DD (potentially discussing a new contract), has a tour of Japan and a match against his old club booked, Champion's League nights at Celtic Park to look forward to, an unlikeable weasel in Beale to slap around. Maybe, just maybe he ain't going anywhere.

Not going to agree on this so best to leave it there.
Graham Potter earned £15 million for 6 months work at a “big club” like Chelsea. If that’s what Ange aspires to then fair enough.

Maybe naive here but i don't know if the money will be Ange's motivating factor here.

That's what I heard 3 or 4 days back. Good to hear others hearing the same.

    Treble then 5 x Ange

Ange will back himself to do a job wherever he goes because that's his personality, if (IF) he's offered it and given any sort of reasonable assurances I don't think he'll back down from an EPL job because other managers have failed.

You might be right but I just don’t really understand the concession that the spurs job is a better one than the Celtic one.

We were a shambles, but we only had one team in the country that were better than us, and we had a budget that could allow us to overtake them. It required a lot of very good recruiting granted.

Spurs are not in that position. They have 5 or 6 teams that are better than them, and all of them will have big budgets in the summer as well to allow them to improve.

Ange has the ability to build a team, but he would be dealing with over inflated egos, also he wouldn't be winning anything with spurs.

Playing devil's advocate here - bigger league, bigger domestic audience, worldwide audience, bigger pay, more fame...bunch of tarts!

See this is the thing, he's set for life if he stays here (or probably already is).

It's the League mate, and the money that goes with it, not so much the club itself.

The sfa and spfl specifically petitioned the home office to allow this as it helps fund our league read about it last six months why we have seen players enter this league that normally would need to lobbybhard to get a permit out our other clubs. At an advantage over English league 2 and 1 and some in the championship why I say we shouldn’t go following suit and banning gambling and alcohol sponsors as it’s one of the few advantages we will have over the English game should not cut ourselves off to sponsors

Because we're objectively stuck in a much * league, he's been here two years, pretty much rebuilt a team from scratch and hit the ceiling domestically, if we didn't take our foot off the gas and rotate players after we won the league we were on course for an all time points/goals record. I hope to * he stays but realistically he has nothing more to prove here, a big EPL job is a step up and a new challenge.

Don’t think he’s ever been asked this but I would be interested to hear which job Brendan Rodgers enjoyed the most- Leicester or here?

BR couldn't wait till get his back * down the road. It's no different from our players who jump at the first chance to go . Most players and managers want to be in the EPL. It's just the way it is
