Be careful what you wish for. The mood Desmond’s in, he’d be Keane to make a change.

Kinnell...horrible time that 2 years ago. He needs to move on from that fantasy of Keane managing Celtic.

He’s as good as gone. He’s done a great job here but it’ll always feel like unfinished business to me. I know he doesn’t owe the club anything and it’s a huge opportunity for him but I can’t help but feel bitterly disappointed that he’s going after two seasons and still building a squad.

Previous managers have talked to other clubs and stayed with us, including Martin O’Neill and Jock Stein.

Every manager that we ever have will always eventually look for another challenge.

We'll find out the truth of his assertion that he hasn't held talks by the speed of which things do or don't materialise next week.

Forget all the noise for the time-being and enjoy tomorrow for what it is, a chance to make history.

this is the way of the modern game, managers, players and directors will come and go, so it shouldn't be any surprise to us, but the thing is, the club and the supporters will always be constant.

So if nothing comes of the Spurs offer you would sack him? Headlines …”Celtic sack Ange” ..can’t be serious?

I'm assuming he means for a breach of trust, while in the lead up to a massive game and publicly stating the contrary.

Seeing the absolute arrogance and bullshit from the Tottenham fans is why I took absolute pleasure when no dons had to give up effort on keeping Matt Oriley or when we took hopper and Ledley from English sides

Aye, his whole MO since arriving is about creating a legacy, full focus on the job, blocking out the outside noise and quickly moving on guys like JJ & GG who seen their futures elsewhere.

It would be hypocritical if he had been doing the same while we still had games to play.

He hasn't done anything yet for us to doubt his sincerity, so until that changes we have to take it on his words yesterday.

Haha what, I made about 5 posts saying that finishing second would be the harder achievement.

Can’t believe I’m reading posts on here, the day before we have a chance to do a historic treble, about how Ange will fit Kyogo and Harry Kane into his Spurs team.
    * unbelievable.
Let’s enjoy tomorrow and see what next week brings.

Personally think he will thrive on the fact it is a basket case club that is a bit of a fixer upper. He has done rebuilding jobs wherever he has gone. For a fan it's basket case club, for him, it's another club to transform like all the others he has in the past and that's why it is more of an attractive proposition

I’d hope he would play Kyogo behind Kane otherwise the wee man will drown in splutters.

This place has been mental over the last two days :giggle1:

People blindly believe what the rags, who are only interested in klicks and are happy to lie to get those.

It's anyway not in our power so why worry when we have an important game like the Cup Final ahead?
The rags successfully take away our well earned pride of what we have achieved this season. Don't let them fool you.
If Ange leaves next week, so shall it be, even if it would be sad.

But for the moment, Ange is busy with preparing the team for a very important game and we should too!

Not only that, but it is Tottenham.

Ok they’re not a Barcelona, Madrid, Juventus, Man City/Utd etc - but there’s no sense in pretending they’re some sort of no-mark team either.

He’ll look at this as as big a step up as you can take directly from the Celtic job as is possible. You aren’t going directly to any of the aforementioned clubs, but if you’re successful at Tottenham, you absolutely could be.
