Would never diminish what we achieved but to use it as an argument when we are regularly getting spanked now is * idiotic

 

It’s a bit of a myth our poor European record the past 20 years, we reached the last 16 of the champions league in 06/07,07,08 and 12/13. Most of those other years we were in the group stage of the champions league and didn’t get out our group. We haven’t won a knockout tie in 19 years partly because we’re in the champions league most of the time. What would you rather be in the Europa league and win a few knockout ties or get out your group in the champions league?

 

Honestly??

I * hate the champions league, it's just like epl on steroids. It's simply about money and it's the same teams every year. Right now i reckon we could pick at least 13 of the last 16 for next year.
I know financially it's huge to us and there's the prestige of it all but I * detest seeing us being battered by some * oil billionaires play thing.

Iv much preferred the more competitive games in the europa league over the last 5 or 6 years to the champions league ones bar maybe this season.

U make a good point regarding the champions league group stages being partly responsible but there have been years we've failed to get out of europa groups or been knocked out of that and even the * conference league at the 1st hurdle.

We've seen worse teams than us over the past 10 years far out achieve us in europe. We should be doing better than we have, especially with our history

 

Muscat is a decent coach in his own right but lightning rarely strikes twice in the same place.

 

Sometimes you need a hobby or passion to keep you going especially people that are older I think if you fully retire you deteriorate quicker

Not even that they have made two quarter finals in space last 4 seasons last 16 of cl - or quarter finals is what our team should be targeting anything after that is luck it’s the only way to raise the game here

Regarding Knusten... why has he not moved to a bigger club yet? Has he had offers? No disrespect to Bobo but surely after doing so well with such limited resources you would think a bigger club would of taken a chance by now.
