He brought in Tielemans, Castagne & Fofana. Perez who done well too. He was on a hiding to nothing this season though. I wouldn’t want him though. I’d go for Knutsen.

Tielemans was already there on loan was he not. Anyway even the Leicester fans were moaning about how * their recruitment was under compared to before him

Their transfers in the few years prior to Rodgers were a complete shambles. Rodgers done really well with them to be honest. He had them playing some great stuff initially.

Given Karen Bradys article on Ange a few weeks ago I'd be absolutely shocked if they don't go for Ange too. Whether he's still available by end of next week tho is up for debate

What a ridiculous shout. He’s nearly 72 years old. :56:

That’s totally mental as well, a 75 year old going through the pressure of managing a football team, crazy stuff.

If michel was a possibility from girona I think he would be a good appointment looking into him. Seen his name mentioned in potential candidates online and part of the city group would be known to mark lawwell, did really well with girona this year

I think it will be one of my three and I am leaning towards Scott Brown.

    Wanted Maresca last time around.

Know things didn't go well at parma but 14 games was hardly a fair crack at it.

    Either him or Knutsen

You better believe he does. He'll be in the conversation 100%, Ange's comments in his presser the other week about Kennedy running the football department etc, maybe he knows something you or I don't??

Maresca was a target when we were in some state..

He's too much of a gamble now and we're a much more attractive option for higher calibre coaches..

Can he speak English? I dunno if having a non English speaking manager would be the best call at the moment considering lot of the players can't speak English either. I do like the idea of the continuity someone from the city group would bring. Like I don't personally think ange had any idea who jota or starfelt O'Riley abada etc were. He just most likely green lighted it

Last time around I was all for Marco Rose or Jesse Marsch obviously Rose is out the question now but I reckon I could get behind Jesse Marsch Leeds were in some state when he took over and with hindsight he probably should have been kept on

You're probably right mate but read quite a bit on him back then and really liked the sound of the way he set his team out and tried to play. Not too dissimilar to Anges philosophy and obviously has strong links to city group so will be familiar to Mark Lawell and likley already a good working relationship between them.

Id he suprised if next manger doesn't have links to city group to be honest. Unless that auld * Desmond gets involved and gives it to moyes

Loads of folk wanted him last time around as he had a cracking cv but leeds has certainly tarnished it. Wouldn't be overly against him
