Would be nice if he's just playing the game , talk to spurs, create all this madness in the media, Celtic come with a ridiculous offer to stay then he signs it and stays for another two years then goes.

Holding on to that as hope . I really thought he was going to build something and bring us to a European final and win. The joys of being a Celtic supporter. So many highs and not to far away, the lows hit ya like a ton of bricks

As a man who has constantly gone on about focus being on the next game & trophy, if he has held talks with Spurs prior to Saturday's Cup Final then he'll have went down in my estimations.

I actually don't, mate. I don't hold much interest in that tourist league at all.

We all criticise the board but they did have two outstanding candidates.

    Although, Ange was 100% luck.

Disappointing if he is away, especially with all the talk of the ‘project’ and what not.

I suppose I can’t really blame someone with no prior attachment to the club for not turning down what I would assume is big money and the opportunity to manage a wealthy club in a top league (even if they are they are the Hibs of the South). Still stings a bit given some of the sound bites he’* out with, but that’s football I suppose.

It’s a shame that it’s creating a bit of a cloud over a potential treble.

If he does go I could see him coming for Kyogo unfortunately, even if he's the relatively cheap (by EPL standards) second option to come off the bench, there's plenty of strikers down there that are lazy * journeymen and only bag a handful of goals a season but never seem to have any problem finding a club somehow, his movement and workrate would put plenty to shame down there.

I completely get that and understand but he'll still be focused on the final. If anything I think we'll put on a good performance.

The fact that Spurs have money does not automatically mean Ange would be offered big wages. His stock is still low. Furthermore, Levy might want a cheap puppet.

I assert there is 80% chance Ange stays. Anyone willing to take me up on the bet, get ready to record yourselves singing the Japanese or South Korean anthem if I'm proven right.

If he leaves then we need to keep the same ambition and hire someone similar to him.

Think outside the box a bit and use the City Group relationship.

As I said it’s all hypothetical, Kane or Richarlison will most likely be off, Kyogo in as 2nd striker to whoever stays (most likely Richarlison).

Could really be the cup final that makes his decision, he's said already a cup final in any country should be a spectacle. 6k Inverness fans, I'd hardly call that a spectacle, its actually embarrassing as *, couldn't even sell 10k briefs for a once in a generation probably lifetime opertunity, them getting to a Scottish cup final is on par with us reaching the knockout stage of the ECL or the final of the Europa. Scottish football is a shambles in terms of support, again if it wasn't for Celtic and the filth football in this country would be * miserable. A professional league ran like an * setup, * * poor.

I get what you're saying but not 100% sure I agree.

I don't know if we need a manager to stay long term to progress. As long as we have the right recruitment and succession planning in place we can keep improving even if we lose a manager every 2-3 years.

It's the structure behind the manager we need to get right. I hope to Christ we've learned that lesson.

As dissapointing it would be, it's a part of the beauty of the game. You never know what the next manager will bring. Ange will leave the club in fantastic condition for the next manager to build on.

If that was off the back of that Lennon interview Sherwood talks one load of pish he goes from saying he spoke to someone that morning then within seconds says he'll be in England within 2 years.
