Totally agree with all of that. They better have a decent replacement is all I can say.

Clutching at straws here but he's still 10/11 with Paddy Power for the job and bookies HATE losing money. A nailed on set to be announced manager is not a 10/11 shot. Just saying.....

If it's not a decent replacement they better get the barriers up again because they'll not stop the amount of sharks that come flying this time :giggle1::giggle1:

Way I feel I’d rather he just went now not signing a contract has resulted in this I’d rather we let Kennedy take the team and lift the cup tbh

If he goes then he goes at the right time. No mid season. Not before cup finals. At the very start of the summer. Plenty time now and the best time to source a proper replacement, and get his way of playing across.

We should have given him a 4 year deal as soon as last season was over, the same as we did with Brendan.

Now when he goes we'll get zip.

I know but it feels a bit * with the quotes he was saying prior, about doing something special at the club and how we'll be surprised how long he is here.

Everyone can understand the massive wage he'll get at Spurs so we're not surprised he's taking it, but it still feels *.

Just reminds me that we shouldn't get too attached to anyone.

Aye I won't make that mistake a third time..

It isn't as bad as the rat but they've basically offered him it last week after multiple high profile knock backs....he's accepted it before our flag day and cup final..

It's only because it's the end of the season that it looks better, they can wait as their season is finished and we've only the 1 game left..

I still don't think it looks good on him..

Ah well. I suppose we'll get an exciting summer now with makes, new ideas and maybe a different type of recruitment than we were about to get..

Yep. Used to be middling at best, but more bottom half really if you did well here..

Any guy looking will go, I don't need to change much at all and will have funds, champions football and a chance that after a couple of year....he could walk in to a massive EPL job..

Ive been reluctant to give myself wholly to Ange after Rodgers.
The wee voice in my head keeps saying if he was still here next season if be all in.
    But fool me once..
I'd heard his BGT sop story before.
    Please don't do it.

It is testament to the job Ange has done that he could well get a chance with a big club in England. Spurs a few years ago were in the CL final and have the likes of Kane, Richardson, Son, Bentacur. He will fancy himself to turn them around. He goes with my best wishes anyways if he does leave. He has done a phenomenol job. He came into the club with no backroom team, had an awful start and before Jan last year a hellish injury list. I did advocate Jesse Marsch on another thread to replace him but I see people mentioning Knutsen and I agree we should make a move for him if Ange does go. Plays the same way and schooled us in Europe(only question being why is he still at Bodo now?)

Ps anyone giving their heart and soul to a manager these days is wildly naive. Enjoy the moment is the new football way because it can all change within a week or two.

    Can't see it..

They thought he was a donkey when he got game time before and although he's been injured....they'll be looking for a more high profile player. The injury helps us also..

The most likely is Hatate for me out of our squad..

Regardless of when he left we were never going to be happy. At least he had the decency to wait til the end of the season. It's a monumental kick in the * to see him leaving but he could hardly have left us in a better place. I've said before we can draw parallels to when Rodgers left in the sense that we now need to back the manager to kick on in Europe previously with Rodgers we didn't (Mcginn, Castagne, Pinucci etc) and we seen how that ended I just hope we have learned from the past and aren't walking out of Hampden to Lennon as manager :giggle1:

@McChiellini.. Ange has not accepted any bid, nor have there been any. Sun, Record...they are equal to no source.

Think again, would it make sense for Ange to work with Levy? To have his hands tied up and set for failure?

Extremely disappointed that we aren't getting the time out of him that I had hoped to see his project at least half-way through.

That being said, he lifted us out a very dark place to give us some legendary and iconic moments while putting us back on top and leaving us in a great place financially and in the background. Heartbroken but he goes with my best wishes and I hope he shuts people up down there.

Some might feel understandably different just now but he will always be welcome back to Celtic Park for me.

    I feel sad.

He'll win the Scottish Cup and then it won't be long after. Literally days.

He leaves on a high though and will give us ample time for a new manager to be put in place.

I hope that we weren't just looking at being a few transfer windows ahead and already have another progressive manager lined up. Moyes link can get so far to *.
