If Ange was Spurs’ number one target, he’d already know it and so would we because we know 100% that Spurs could not care less about our game on Saturday (unless Ange has specifically asked them not to rock the boat). There would be no benefit to them leaking it to the rags. Is there not a real chance that this is Spurs putting out the “we’ve moved on” stories in a desperate attempt to lure Nagelsmann or Enrique back to the negotiation table?

 

We'll find out in his post match interview of he is leaving or not.

 

True we will have to come back to reality at some point but I can only imagine us going down the way, the domination domestically, the style of play, the consistency, the signings and ease of replacing players and all that. This seems about as good as it gets.

Other guys might do Trebles or better in Europe but it will probably be worse to watch with much more dodgy signings and bad spells and all that.

Until we won the League about a month ago we went on a run of winning something like 55 out of 60 League games maybe even better and done it scoring more goals than we ever scored in our history barring like 2 seasons and with probably possession no other team in any League has ever reached.

Ange will be getting paid around £2.5m - £3m a year at celtic.
at spurs he will be getting £13m - £15m a year, if you take into what Conte was coining in.

Ultimately this will make it very difficult. It’s hard to knock back money like that when you’ve got a family.

I said on here before, we should be putting down an offer big enough that money isn’t such a deciding factor this summer. We can match that but if we went a bit closer we might get another year.

I have a feeling he's going to stay for another year that he's a man of principal but then when you see numbers like this, there's no way he's staying. When your stock is high and someone waving fingers like this at you, even the pipe would sell his soul for it. He gets that type he's gone and tbh, I don't blame him. Everyone of us even with an emotional attachment to the club we all have, we'd bite your arm off for it. It's * if he goes but it is whst it is and we'll just have to accept it. It'll be a big downer that's for sure. Building a team to play this type of football for it to be all ripped up to start again. Depressing stuff but sure, that comes with being a Celtic supporter. We get some highs but then big lows not to far away!

But with that said, hopefully he'll give us another year before he takes the carrot!

 

Looks like Ange is away and the decision has been made more than a few weeks ago.

All the evidence seems to point in that direction.. drop in form from the team, meeting with Dermot , hope I'm wrong .
